He completed medical school in 2003 at Loma Linda School of Medicine and has been in active practice for 16 years. After receiving his doctorate degree, Dr. Carlson went on to the University of California San Francisco-Fresno to complete an internal medicine internship in 2004, which is also when he received his Physician and Surgeon License to practice in California. After spending a year in his internship, Dr. Carlson began a Radiology Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, which he completed the summer of 2008. After his residency, Dr. Carlson relocated to the Dallas area to finish his post-graduate medical training with a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. After completing his fellowship, he moved back to California to practice as a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with CMI Radiology Group. Dr. Carlson made his final move to Dallas in 2010, where he has been practicing vascular and interventional radiology.
