No rating low enough !We took our daughters wedding dress that we had waited 6 months for the designer to create to Tailor Shop at the reccomendation of Terry Costas.When our daughter tried it on it was snug in the hips & was a fit &flair style.When I told the tailor what the problem was she proceeded to split a 14' seam,reach inside and split that too and said that she didn't realize the seams weren't enough to help-we need 1 1/2 " Told us to go back to Terry Costas get more material & embellishing or check out fabric stores( 2 months before the wedding).Our daughter started crying,they laughed at her .We left only to find out that the dress and the material were discontinued.Now we had a ruined wedding dress & had to purchase a second dress and take her first dress that we had paid for and NEVER got to wear down the aisle to a second seamstress called Benita's Tailor who was fabulous.She fixed the first dress perfectly and made the second dress look like it was made for her.

All I have to say is that, after getting my dress altered at Diana's, it had to be "fixed" on the wedding day with last-minute sewing and white duct tape! All three fittings I asked for the boning to be sewed more tightly into my strapless dress because it was poking up. All three times I was dismissed and told that it would be done. When I went to pick up the dress, it looked like little had been done, and after requesting AGAIN, a woman took it back and put in a few stitches. The day of the wedding comes, I put it on, and within the hour, there's a red spot on my chest where the boning is rubbing. Within the next hour the boning actually poked THROUGH the fabric and was coming out of the dress! My mom had to sew it back in and we sealed it with WHITE DUCT TAPE so that we could make it to the wedding on time! If you want a dependable tailor job and don't want to deface your expensive dress, I'd say find a tailor that will respect your requests and fulfill them as promised!

I bought my dress from Terry Costa which is 2 doors down. They recommended this place. They had her come down and look at the dress b/c it needed alterations. She pinned the dress and told me to come to her shop in a week and 1/2. She would have the alterations done and would talk to me about the bustle. I came to her shop on the appointed day and was told to dig through a rack for my dress. She yelled at me b/c I couldn't find it fast enough. She rushed me into a closet with a curtain a fussed at me to hurry up. When I get the dress on there were open seams on the bust. When I asked about the bustle she told me to come back the following Tuesday. She is VERY short/rude!!! I have to go back today...wish me luck.

I have used Diana many times and her work is consistently beautiful! I found her when another tailor butchered my wedding dress. She was able to undo the mess he made as well as bustle it perfectly. I use her for everything now... just wonderful!
