I went here and wanted an invisible part sew-in. My usual stylist(not from the barber college) was not available. I decided to go here. The instructor decided it was okay to tell me how much she hated invisible parts b/c "they pull your hair out." That should have been the warning for me. I've been getting this style for years and it has NEVER caused my hair damage. I take good care of my natural hair. It's long and healthy. I just get the sew-ins when I'm really busy (school and work) Anyway they sewed all the weave in till they got to the part and realized the braid pattern they used would make my part an inch wide. So I had a 1in bald area in my head. I went home and moved the weave around to make my part look smaller. I took it out 2 weeks later and all my hair is gone in the front and only on my left side. After I cried for 15 mins. I am now pissed but know better. Please save yourself the stress.

My Experience:



I walk in and let the cashier guy know what i want done [wash/style:braid into mowhawk] and he charged me $22.00...i paid

I entered into the salon no stylest came to see what i needed done

A BARBER served me to see what i needed and he had to ask a STYLEST to do my hair

The stylest took me to the back to wash my hair

While getting my hair washed the cashier comes back there telling me it would be another $23.00...[fustrated] i paid

Hair get dried and in salon chair gettin hair braided on the sides to form a mowhawk

While getting a couple braids complete im guessing the stylest teacher come in and ask me how much did i pay for the style i was in process of getting and i told her a total of $45.00...she states im getting to much done for that amount she told me it would be $65.00

Got up and asked for my money back and they gave me $30 out of my $45 back...left paying for the wash and the 3 braids totaling $15 [not satisfied]



First im getting my hair done by stylest in training charging me $65.00 to get my REAL hair braided on just the sides leaving the front and middle out



At a REAL salon they charge $45.00 for the same style, u pay AFTER it's complete, and u leave satisfied



FIRST time going to this salon and LAST...PLZ don't make the same mistake i did!!!!!!
