The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I checked in for my husband and I around 4:30. I went to the small room with very odd configuration (weird, but fine) and watched a little TV. Not 30 minutes later, someone used a key to get into the room! Thankfully I had the latch on, so they could open the door, but not get in the room. The guy said he had just been checked into that room. Well, so had I. I tried to call the front desk, but they did not answer. I finally got through and asked if I needed to leave, as I now did not feel safe leaving my belongings in an unattended room. They said I could not get my money back if so.



The manager came by a few minutes later (first she tried to call, but one phone in the room didn't work) to offer a free breakfast. She didn't apologize, but I guess she tried. She left and then called back (on the working phone) to say she couldn't find our reservation and we have to be at the wrong hotel. Um, I just checked us in 30 minutes ago. Regardless, she demanded I bring her a copy of our confirmation email. When I did, they still couldn't find us (although we did have a reservation and were at the right hotel) but did figure out they had given us someone else's room. No one apologized, just matter of fact that it was someone else's room, but they would "let" us stay there.



I left and came back with my husband a few hours later. Of course, the room keys did not work. We got in the elevator that bounced around (and is 3.5 months past inspection) to be told by front desk it was our fault the keys didn't work, but they would fix them. How generous.



We finally get back in the room and now you can really tell how dirty it is. Stained carpets, dirty towels, filthy shower. Light in the bathroom doesn't even have a cover on it. Not to mention the king bed has a 4.5" thick mattress and only 3 pillows.



Due to the outdated and low performing wall AC, it was a loud and uncomfortable and sleepless night. We checked out first thing the next morning (skipping the comped breakfast - no thanks) to go find another hotel asap.



Short: this hotel in more like Motel 6 than Marriott. Please, save your sanity and go elsewhere.
