Located in University Park, City Cafe is a California-style, new American restaurant in Dallas that offers an unpretentious fine dining experience. Every item on the menu is made 100% from scratch each day, whether you are joining us for dinner, lunch or weekend brunch. We use the highest quality ingredients at our bistro, making it a world-class eatery right in the Park Cities area. Since 1985, City Cafe has received applause from celebrity chefs, food critics and reporters with our world-class menu. Even icons such as Julia Child have been impressed by our culinary craft, presentation and service. Over the last three decades we have also been featured in Wine Spectator, D Magazine, Texas Monthly, Food & Wine Magazine and more. On the daily menu you will find a variety of fresh seafood dishes, tender cooked meat entrees, fresh salads, and savory appetizers. Saturday and Sunday brunch features comforting breakfast foods such as omelets, brioche French toast, shrimp n' grits, chilaquiles and more. If you saved room for dessert, we always feature an array of sweet treats such as cakes, pies and cheesecakes. Our wine bar has an expansive list of wines by the glass and bottle, including selections of interesting new and old world reds. Most of our vino is imported from wineries in California, Italy, and France, but there are also bottles from Argentina and Spain. City Cafe features private dining rooms for banquets or special celebrations. The Garden Room and Fireside Loft make great event spaces in Dallas for wedding rehearsals, business meetings, corporate lunches, anniversaries, Christmas parties, and birthdays. With every event, we offer a selection of banquet menus that can be customized to your preference. Our fine dining restaurant is open seven days a week, with table reservations available online or by phone. We are located at 5757 W Lovers Lane in North Dallas, near the toll road and Inwood Village. City Cafe also offers a to-go service for a fresh meal, in the comfort of your own home or office.
