I know that they try to spice things up in here a little, and I actually like it. They have new sandwiches and better customer service, I am loving the changes.

I've lived in Dallas since 1979 and Cindi's was one of my first experiences. This place is an establishment. My sons once asked, if I could only choose one Dallas restaurant I could go to for the rest of my life, which one would it be? (Dallas has 1000s of them...and many very good ones!) I chose Cindi's. You can go there 365 days of the year every meal and never have the same plate twice, that's how extensive the choices are. And everything is over the top excellent! One of my favorites is liverwurst on egg bagel with red onions, tomato and lettuce and spicy mustard. The breakfast specials are always great. And their chicken and dumplings is better than mom used to make. I have not been to all their locations, but the N. Central location is the original, and never disappoints. Great service, too. Come early, the place gets packed. And remember, you are coming for the food. If you want atmosphere, thy another place. Three thumbs up for Cindi's.

I love all four of Cindi's NY Delis. My favorite one is on Central Expwy; only because it is the closes to our house. The waiters/waitress are very friendly and pay close attention to your table needs. The owner has worked very hard to keep only the best employees and to make it a place that you will enjoy. I love the breakfast but I have tried several of their lunch meals. Go hungry because they pile the food on!! My favorite resturant; take a friend and go try for yourself. You won't be sorry. Food is delivious!!!

The best deli place I know of in Dallas. Try their sandwiches! They also just put up a facebook site. Hopefully they'll give out coupons to facebook members soon!

Quaint Breakfast and Deli Business where the customer is the primary focus.

The name says "NY Deli", but there are also some truly "TEXAN" items on the menu. A limited seating area, I prefer to eat there in the "off hours" where there's not a frantic pace going on to service the customers and politely clear the tables. For breakfast I'd highly recommend the Chili/Cheese omelet (the Chili is also great in it's own bowl - beware! it can be spicey at times). Lunch time offers lots of options and if you see a particular meat in the deli section, but not on the menu and the place isn't too busy then ask for the substitution; these folks are great in being flexible! Or, if the day of the week offers the Chicken Fried Steak then go for it!! Dinner has many options too, and don't forget... This is also a Bakery and Deli, so if you want some FRESH meat, cheeses, breads, sweet treats then stop on in and peruse the offerings -- I've yet to be disappointed in the 6 years I've been going there! (I was surprised to see no write-up, so here you go for a recommendation of one of the better, decently priced eateries in Dallas!) It's on Forest Ln between Marsh and Walnut Hill on the North side tucked between two fast food eateries; so don't blink or you might just miss the turn in.
