Stay away from Central Realty in DFW. This is not the same Central Realty that used to be run by a husband and wife team. It's now run by a son and his friend. These young guys really led us astray. First, they pursuaded us not to counter-offer when we sold our house, and we lost tens of thousands of dollars. Then, they pursuaded us to purchase a house for about 20K more than it was actually worth. We're out tens of thousands of dollars more. They were basically door openers and offered no real assistance with negotiations. When we were sellers, they seemed to be working more in the interests of the buyers and the buyers agent. When we were buyers, they seemed to be working more in the interests of the sellers and the sellers agent.



We chose Central Realty to save money on realtor commissions, but it is true "you get what you pay for". Please don't make the same mistake as us. If you have to go with a discount realtor, look elsewhere.
