Take it from a (and I'm sad to say it) current resident. You DO NOT want to live here. The management is absolutely horrible about taking care of these apartments. In fact, if you report something broken, you are treated as if you are inconveniencing them. They smile and talk big, but nothing is EVER fixed or taken care of around here. The security gates are a joke (as I'm sure they probably are at most places), but having security personnel on the grounds should help take care of that, right? Wrong, cause see, our security guard likes to take long lunch breaks, and I've even seen them smoking weed in their vehicle. That is no joke! They will raise your rent with each new lease signing, and will not have made ANY improvements or done ANY upkeep during your stay. I was told when I resigned (why, oh why did I do that?) that I would receive a new ceiling fan, a new digital thermostat, and a free carpet cleaning. This was 4 months ago, and they have yet to come through with even ONE of those things. Considering the fact that I'm looking to move, but because of work, need to stay in this area, I have done a lot of comprehensive apartment hunting/pricing around here. I have come to the conclusion that the owners/managers of these apartments are seriously confused. They obviously think they have something to compete with, because they are at best, just as expensive as other places around here, but a lot of the times, they are more expensive. I can't say that I've lived in any other apartments in this immediate area so I can't confirm that there are any others who have better management or security, but at this point, I'm willing to take my chances!
