Finally dined here after driving by it for 25+ years!

Pros:
Pickles in the table: yum!
Half duck was perfect.
Rack of lamb was delicious.
And who knew I liked giant carrots before today! Wow!

Cons:
Water refill guys: felt like I was a victim of driveby shootings every time they swept through the dining room. WTH!
Ice cold butter served with the warm beautiful bread roll: why ice cold?
Key Lime Pie: they said tangy, I tasted bitter.
$5 Valet parking!

Bob's is one of the best steak houses in Dallas, and Dallas has some great steak places. The staff is knoweldge, friendly and fun. The steak and seafood are great. I have always left satisfied and felt the foot adn atmosphere justified the price. They have a great martini bar and wine menu as well. This is a great place for a celebration, date, or business dinner.

Wonderful steak house! Delicious food, great service. It is on the higher end of the price scale but you certainly get what you pay for. I strongly encourage you to make a reservation for an upcoming special occasion. I don't think you will be disappointed. I went with a large group and we ordered some appetizers; calamari, crab cakes and an assortment of family-style sides in addition to our steaks. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order. Enjoy it!

Outstanding!! Del Frisco's used to be my favorite, not after eating here!! Try the Kansas strip steak, just flat the best steak I've ever eaten. Wonderful wine list, fantastic service, great ambiance,nothing lacking.

Travel too much and try to find something in North America that can beat Bob's...still looking. Whenever I want to impress a client or celebrate with my wife, Bob's is the only choice.

Everyone raves about this place, but my husband and I didn't find it all that good. They won't substitute anything on their plates and the steak just wasn't everything we had heard about. Based on that we thought it was pricey for all the buzz.

The glazed carrot is the tastiest carrot in the USA. The steak was superb. Service was OK but not great. TOO noisy.

Maybe we just caught the wait staff on a bad night, but we were somewhat disappointed in the service considering the prices that we were paying.

I loved the large sweet carrott. Steaks are well aged! No problems with Medium Rare here! Also has gift certificates! Staff was friendly and worth every dime.. a definate 5 star restaurant!!!!!

We asked the servers for substitutions on the vegetables and were told no. No.... from a high end restaurant. They apparently don't offer alternatives. Steak was delicious, but you would expect so at the prices they charge.

My husband and I have been going to Bob's for our special for years now and we always get the same high quality steaks and service. The servers are great about when to approach and not. We never feel . Also the steak is always high quality as all of the sides and salads. I particularly enjoy the salad! Enjoy!

If you are in North Dallas and looking for a great steak, don't miss Bob's. Absolutely one of the best. Great selection on the menu, cooked to perfection. Of course they have other items for those non-steak lovers. Very well appointed decor. Price is on the upper end, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend this one!

Classic chop house, feels manly. Good food, signature large glazed carrot - don't miss it.
