One of the staff recommended my dog get it's nails trimmed. The next day i had a group of friends over and my dog was non stop jumping on my guest. Now when my dog jumps on me he will scratch and scratch. I was so embarrassed as that was in the back of my mind. super happy someone was able to suggest that. And he's even more cuddlie now. i Deff recommend coming in!!! they're experts!

Terrible Grooming Company

I took my Wheaten Terrier there after speaking with Greg the owner who explained the procedure and the price. He told me he would take care of my dog and to get her there early because the earlier I got there the sooner she would be finished so I was there at 7:35 am. Another employee assisted me, got the information about my dog and I asked him if Greg was the groomer and he said yes, and admired my dog and ran his fingers through her hair and mentioned it shouldn't be a problem to get her pretty. I called about 2:30 pm and my dog was not ready so they said it would be closer to 5:00. When I arrived Lexie was not finished so I waited for the other employee to finish cutting her hair and saw that they had completely shaved her down to the skin and when I got her home she had been cut in several different places. I took her to my veterinarian and they gave me instruction on how to care for her. I will never recommend that grooming place to anyone and always make sure I tell anyone who will listen what a nightmare this incident was. My poor dog was nervous for a few days after her haircut.

I used to take my dog there and at first no problem. On the second visit when I went to pick-up my sweetie he was so sad and just curled up when we got home. After that time when we were on our way he would just cry and cry and didn't want to get off the car. We stopped taking him because he had been cut around his private area and nipped in other areas. We had to take him to the vet. Our vet recommended we not take him there any more and suggested other places in our area better qulified. Our sweetie was so sad after that experience! I will never recommend that place and I always tell others of this horrible place! I don't care how well they have groomed other show dogs, pet owners BEWARE of these weird people. And I was never an employee or relative of any of these people.

The staff here is amazingly friendly, Greg, the owner of the shop has 25 years + handling dogs and caring and grooming for them. The first thing you notice when you walk in the shop is all the awards he has won. You would think he would be the most expensive because he's so experienced and talented, but his prices were very reasonable. I would highly recomend this shop over any place. My dogs seem to really enjoy going there also. They always look forward to their day at the grooming shop. you can see his work at www gregreyna.com

While grooming my dog, for unclear reasons, they decided to shave my dogs testicles and, in the process, cut them. When I picked up my dog, he was in obvious pain. They told me he must have worms. After going home, his pains worsened and I brought him back. They noted that his testicles were inflamed and agreed to reimburse his medical bills. The vet noted that he had an injury and prescribed antibiotics and steroids. I tried many times to reach the owner (Greg Reyna) who did not return my calls for over a week. When he did call, he was rude and seemed completely uninterested in my dogs welfare. Much later he finally agreed to reimburse my vet bill. When I went to pick up the check at the time we had agreed on, he was not available. After making a surprise visit he begrudgingly wrote a check which he later stopped payment on. These are second rate groomers who have shady business practices. I will never return and advise anyone else to spare your pet from this agonizing experience.

Sincerely care about the dogs, provide excellent service, whether a full-bred dog or a mixed breed!

They always treat our mixed breed dog just like he is purebred royalty. Greg and his staff show a great compassion and loving care for each dog that is brought in for grooming. Bishop Arts Dog Grooming is the best find in dog grooming in the Dallas area...far, far better than any pet store grooming! We used local area pet stores for grooming and never found the satisfaction in service that we found with Greg and his staff. They are a blessing to the Oak Cliff area and to Dallas!

Best dog grooming that I have found in the metroplex.

This is a full service shop where each dog, purebred or mixed, is given individual attention. From a simple bath to show grooming your dog will be taken care of. Each and every dog leaves the shop looking its best. Mr. Reyna, the primary groomer and shop owner, knows all of his regular clients well, and understands any special needs and idiosyncracies. Mr. Reyna is a dog enthusiast and shows dogs, including grooming them for the show ring. He specializes in showing Giant Schnauzers, and has experience showing many breeds including Standard Schnauzers, Poodles and Collies. Whether you have a hard coated dog that requires hand-stripping or a pampered pet that needs bathing and primping this is the shop for you.
