I was a little concerned after making reservations because of a few of the other reviews that I read. But I like to give the benefit of the doubt and am so delighted that we tried it anyway! Yes, it is an older hotel, if you know and understand that you will totally enjoy the stay! The facilities are VERY clean. The hotel employees went well beyond their means to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The Walt Garrison grill was great as well as the Bistro's breakfast buffet!. Those were the only two places at the hotel that we had a chance to eat at! I feel pretty confident that the others are just as GREAT!! We definitely will be staying there again!

THE VERY BEST FRENCH RESTAURANT in U.S.A. according to Zagat. The 30' Hand Painted Ceilings are as good as being in the Papal Cathredal in Rome. The portions are small enough to have the 6 course meal without stuffing yourself. The glassware, silverware, table cloth, dishes are exceptional. There are 3 Captains that guaranty your ultimate pleasure. The wine conniosseur has the most stupendous selection I have witnessed in over 1,000 great restaurants. If you only go once you will tell all of your friends of this one of a kind gourmet treat!
