They are the best.... they are the onlyone I go to I drive 45min just to get my hair done they got my hair growing so good.... they are kind and respectful.... and treat you like you are family.....they don't take all day..... I'M IN LOVE

I've been going here for my braids for years. I'm always satisfied with the quality of my braids and the quickness of the braiders. Come here if you're looking for quality and affordable braids!

Great customer service. Fast braiding. I've been coming for years. I live in Houston and drive to Dallas to get my hair done right. Find someone great and stick with them.

Never again will I go here! The owner is pretty ok (ghetto as hell) but she did not do my braids this time. Whoever these other two ladies are were HORRIBLE! I had 4 braids come out within a 2 day period!!! I wont even recommend anyone to go here! Some of the ends of my braids look as if they were cut with scissors straight across instead of the natural box braids ends you normally see. SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME & GO ELSEWHERE (the owner also ask for you to write good reviews with all 5 stars lmao no matterm how your service was smh bullcrap!

Had an appointment, arrived on time & hair was not done until 2 hours later! Stylist was constantly on her phone...not professional. My braids were not as I told her I wanted & when I got home I noticed some braids had extra hair gripped in them! So braids were different sizes not to mention very little trimming was done to make braids look neater. Horrible... go somewhere else!

Horrible customer service from the owner she called & told them to collect the money from the customers because she needed to go to the bank I refused I don't pay for a service until it's done ! This all escalates until the police were called just plain ridiculous & ratchet then there is a sign that says pay before seated that I didn't see ok if that's your policy tell people that when they call because I would've went somewhere else I drove 6 hrs to get my hair done & had to deal with This mess !!! The women who did my hair did a good job but I won't return the owner needs to learn how to run a business she can ask for a deposit but you can't ask people to pay for a full hair so without it being done & she doesn't give refunds either!!!

Worst customer service ever & I drove 6 hours to get my hair done . They asked me to pay before they were done & pointed out a sign that I did not see that said pay before seated ���� and I said well I didn't know that & they should've told me that when I called but I don't pay until my hair is done! They get an Attitude & roll their eyes , very unprofessional, then the manager comes in & demands to be paid I told her the same thing just ratchet & unprofessional no way to run a business ask for a deposit if anything you don't ask for all your money upfront!!!!!! Just terrible I definitely won't come back , then they are very expensive & you gotta buy your hair on top of then high ass prices !!! The only reason they even got one star was because I had to give them a rating ... They did a good job but if you have poor customer service I don't care how good you can braid !!!

I've been going to Afrogenix since I was in 9 years old and I am now 18 , they have always done a good job on my hair , my braids rarely fell out and they last for a while .They are very patient with me plus their prices are more than fair ... you won't be stuck in there for hours because they're going to put at least 2 people on your head if not 3 . I HIGHLY recommend it ... Austou you're they best !!!

This is my second time getting my hair done here. Everyone is very friendly. They work fast and my hair is beautiful. They also have fair prices, if you live in the Dallas/Duncanville area I really recommend this salon.

This is my 4th appointment and Both of my nieces was pleased with their braids as well. The service and atmosphere is great. They aim to please everyone customer.

I have been going to this place of over 10 years. I am surprised at all the negative comments on this page. I have had nothing but favorable experiences. The only negative comment was ONCE I had to wait for an appointment. But the quality of the service was and has always been top tier. I have referred my family members over the years and we are all loyal customers.

I am very hard to please when it comes to my hair!!! Please believe me when I say they are all great, they suggest the best for a reasonable price. I've been to other braid shops that don't care about anything but the buck! Ladies come you will not be disappointment....��������

They have the worse services I wouldn't recommend no one...

First of all, if you can't do a hairstyle, they say you can't. Don't let me sit there for hours only to look like a d!$@ fool. My stylist did not attempt to do anything I asked her to do. They burned me with the boiling water so bad that I thought I had blistered. My hair was so horrible that I immediately began to take it down once I made it home (after my daughter laughed at my hair). Once I finished, I noticed that I had a huge bald spot on the front left side of my head!! DO NOT GO HERE! I walked out without paying for the disaster.

I've had braids plenty of times and I recommend for anyone tender headed like me to make sure you eat before you come and take a Motrin or Tylenol. It definitely helps. I was asked what style and I chose the waist length box braids. The lady started immediately. They will not have you waiting at this shop. Everyone was very friendly and I love how as each lady arrived they said "bonjour" to everyone else. They speak in their native tongue the whole time. There is a tv but you won't be able to hear it.

This is not a good place if you are lookin to get your hair braided.They are very unprofessional,they take many breaks while doing your hair and they take forever to finish and not to mention the prices they charge.Most of all, the owner Astou is always late and makes appointments she never keeps.Please try another place b4 going here

This was my first time getting my hair braided here. I usually go to Braid Express but decided to try here because their prices were a little cheaper. This was the first and last time that I will go. First there was a girl on my head and she (from my experience with getting my hair braided)did not know what she was doing. It took her from 2:30 until 6 o'clock to do a quarter of my head, at my normal place I would be ready to walk out the door. At this time the whole shop takes a lunch break and leave all cleints sitting waitng for them to return. I eventually finished and the clock on my radio when I got to my car read 2:06 am in the morning now mind you I did get to the shop at 2 pm. I have never been in any shop were it take 12 hours to do a head. The atmosphere was not that inviting either. So I suggest if you are looking to get your head braided shop around, because I would not recommend this place to anyone. And by the way my hair was braided on Friday and I combed a braid out on Wednesday. I will be going back to Braid Express and not be so concerned with keeping a little money in my pocket. I always say you get what you pay for and what I paid was not worth the hassle or my time.
