As I was exiting the DFW airport, I stopped behind an Aries shuttle at the toll booth. The driver suddenly backed up into my car, causing significant damage. The driver then tried to leave the scene numerous times, saying, "Your car is okay." He also tried to leave with a piece of my car that he had knocked off in the collision. I called the police, and he tried to leave while the policeman was writing his report, also.

It is now day three, and everyone at the Aries office denies knowing it happened and claims to be "away from the office" with none of their insurance information.

My insurance company will deal with this, but it is an unnecessary hassle and inconvenience. They seem to be a very shady outfit. Avoid at all costs.

Tonight, I watched as an Aries Shuttle Driver crawled over the median for the left turn lane from southbound Midway onto Eastbound Spring Valley. It was rush hour and the outside turn lane was full. This jerk wanted the inside turn lane so bad he was trying to inch his way forward. Finally, the light changed and cars began to move. I made it to the front of the OUTSIDE turn lane just as the light turned red. The Aries van made it to the front of the INSIDE turn lane. He inched and inched forward waiting for the light to change. When it did, he shot forward, and pulled into my lane so he could pull into the freakin' McDonald's that is right on the corner. I had to slam on my brakes, as did the THREE CARS BEHIND ME! Nearly a four car accident, so the jerk could get his hamburger. We were all laying on our horns!



Upshot of this: If this is how Aries drivers drive, I'll be calling another shuttle company.



By the way, their phone number only rings to a fax. Never a good sign!
