Worst Renting Experience Ever

Here are a list of issues that we've had to deal with so far:



1) Ants that were not taken care of. Had to buy the baits myself to get rid of them because I was sick of waiting

2) Mice that were keeping me up at night with inadequate response from management. For example, after reporting the mouse problem, they promised us sticky traps the next day. Instead, they arrived the next week, and I had to remind them several times to get even that done. I've caught three mice on the sticky pads, but I can still hear more under the kitchen cabinets. However, the management is still coming to the apartment to check for "evidence of mice". It's been almost 4 weeks now it looks like they're asking for more money to move me to a different unit next to construction which is entirely unreasonable.

3) Bathtub drains that were clogged with DRYWALL.

4) Missing patio screens. Yes, the entire screen was missing so you can throw things out the door if you so desired

5) Promised carpet cleanup of rodent droppings and pee. Hasn't happened yet



Other minor issues included rattling AC fan, mandatory trash service fees, and a dryer that was discovered disconnected by the exterminator earlier in the day at 11pm-- a time when you don't really want to pull your dryer out to reconnect it.



Basically, if you value your time at all, avoid renting here at all costs. While the reps are really nice, they are just agents and are not helpful when bigger problems arise. And granted all apartments have problems when you just move in, but this is just ridiculous
