we switched our 3 daughters here from a local church preschool which had been established in Dallas for 40+ years. We liked it there but St. Alcuin seemed to promise more, and we have never regretted the decision. It's a first class Montessori program, the facilities are very modern and well equipped, the guides extremely experienced and well trained. The management actually listens when you complain (we had some complaints last year and they were very responsive). Our older daughter now attends a highly ranked elementary (Armstrong, in Highland Park school district) while our younger daughters are still at St. Alcuin. Can't say enough good things about St. Alcuin. I wish we could keep all 3 girls there forever.

REALLY DISAPPOINTING! My son went there for awhile but we were asked to leave because they found his "development behind". They offered no support, no referrals, no parent teacher conference revealed this concern beforehand. After extensive research and evaluations from doctors that we did on our own, we found our son was allergic to diary and wheat. Delayed speach and development are often the result of food allergies. We are hurt at how St. Alcuin handled our son both as parents and as a community.
