Our air conditioner decided to go out with temperatures in the low 100's. We called Airtron around 7:00 pm on 8/2/11. They said they would send someone out that night for $120. Brandon showed up at 9:00 pm. He found the problem and had it fixed in around 10 minutes. Bad compacitor. Total bill, $308. Even charged me less for the service call. I would recommend them to anyone. I called around 15 companies and they were the only one that would come out the same night. Very impressed.

We have had multiple problems with Airtron.. all last year they gave us the run around when our a/c coil had a leak. They were finally able to bring us one a week later however the next two coils also had leaks, however thankfully the last one was in a place the tech believed he could fix it. I had to get my home builder involved because they did not want to refund us for the cost of hotels we had to stay in because they neglected to find the problem three times before that, they said that I should have asked for permission first. This year, we are now having another problem with the cooling coming and going, they have had to fix the pipe that drains the air handler about 3-4 times, we have also had problems with it leaking water, during one instance it leaked onto the foundation inside my house. Basically think twice before asking Airtron to take a look at your A/C, my recomendation would be to find a more qualified company. I am going to be sure to add this to multiple review sites so that no one has to go through what my family has put through by this company.

I hate this company. The only reason I have anything to do with them is they are the vendor my homeowner warranty uses. They never show up on time and the scheduling people have made repeated mistakes with the scheduling. I have had techs refuse to do any kind of service becuase they were not the "warranty tech". Then why were they sent out to a warranty call? I would NEVER do business with them if I had a choice!!!!

I called them for a issue with air conditioning and they gave me appointment for Noon, but got there only at 10PM.



And then they tried to call me (at midnight my time) and since I could not be reached they ended up charging me $89 and also wanted to charge me one more time if I wanted to get the issue fixed.



- No apologies whatsoever for being 10 hrs late on the appointment

- Wanted to double charge me for the visit



Dont ever use them, horrible, nightmare, extremely blunt and bad customer service and Manager.

I felt like they were doing me a favor to repair my A/C unit when it broke...this is after being a customer of their annual mntc plan for over 5 years! Skip this company...

They over charged me nearly $400 as compared to two other quotes. I called to have the job cancelled and they still tried to process my down payment. Then tried to collect the remaining amount eventhough they didn't do the work!

If I could vote NO STARS, I would. If you are a residential customer who would just like decent service and your air conditioning to work, DO NOT use Airtron. Our experience with them has been horrible. Once they have your money the service and warranty work is ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD. They DO NOT care about you or thier reputation.
