When searching for movers, I found Across USA services online with very good reviews, so I called and Anthony came to my apartment to give a free estimate. He recommended a flat rate for my move, with no extra or hidden costs, so we set a date which I have to change and they did not have a problem in giving another date. We moved on Jul24th, one of the coldest days, and Anthony and Jerry showed up punctually and got right to work (they went for the truck very early that morning to ensure they could start the engine) They did an excellent job, fast and neat, no scratches,work very hard, didn`t stop, very friendly people.The cost was exactly what they said, anything extra. We would recommend they for sure.

These guys were the best movers I've ever hired. They were recommended by a friend who used them and said they were the most professional, hardworking movers he'd ever used. I had the same experience and now I recommend them to all my friends and family.

I have moved 4 times before, and never had such a great experience .The crew showed up a few minutes early and completed the move in half the time they estimated. My wife and I were moving our property into storage on a holiday and the storage facility was closed, even though the person over the phone said that the storage is open. We felt hopeless. Thanks to the Dispatch at Across USA Moving and Storage that went above and beyond and found a different storage facility that was open a few blocks away. He saved the day for my wife and me. I definitely will use them again when we will move back to our house and recommend on them to any family moving.

Across USA uses the same tactics with many customers, as they used with me: they lure your business with a competitive quote and then, when your possessions are on their truck, loaded and ready to go, they force you to sign a revised quote for a significant amount more than what you contracted for with the salesperson. If you refuse to pay, they hold your possessions hostage until you pay.



In my case, they fraudulently charged my credit card for more than twice the contracted cost of the move. Before I discovered that they had collected from my credit card this outrageous fee, they harassed me for a cashier's check before they would release my possessions to me.



Their delivery team didn't get the memo from headquarters and mistakenly delivered my possessions to the new location. I had to threaten police intervention when they threatened my daughter if she didn't pay them right then and there in cash for the inflated charges, an amount they had already charged to my credit card.



To top it all off, they damaged several pieces of furniture in the move. The estimated total loss was approximately $800, the least of which was a bed that was rendered unusable with the lost of several rails and broken the foot board. They will only accept complaints made with their forms, which they would not supply after numerous requests.



An ex-employee of this company informed me that the owner trains his sales team to quote low prices, his moving team to always inflate the quote with with a minimum of $300 in "moving supplies" and additional overages and then to not return the owner's possessions to them without payment in full.



These are bad, bad guys. DO NOT USE ACROSS USA. They will scam you and leave you without recourse if you ever want to see your stuff again!

I do not recommend this company at all. They are a bunch of crooks. From the original quote you could be paying 2 to 2.5 times as much. The pick up was terrible. The foreman of the movers walked in my home at said "this is going to cost you way more". I have used a moving company before but this was the most horrible experience ever.

DO NOT USE ACROSS USA FOR YOUR MOVE!!

Across USA team did a great job on our packing service today. The entire team was very professional.
