HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! Wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. Office is dirty, urine samples everywhere, Dr. Abbas's assistant Hazel E. Grieger is rude, unprofessional, and lacks any kind of bedside manner. If you don't like "helping people" then this shouldn't be your field of work and you would do everybody a favor by finding another job! I was just down right disgusted with this whole experience.

The moment I walked into Dr. Abbas' office I knew that this was not the right place for me. The facility is outdated, looks dirty and is not patient friendly. I had just found out that I was pregnant and wanted confirmation. There were three people in the room a nurse, I'm assuming the sonogram tech and the Dr. At that time Dr. Abbas was not able to see the baby however we did see the yolk sack and the gestational sack. I did blood work and he asked that I call within a few days for my results. Every time I tried to call the phone just rang out. When I finally got someone on the phone they said that they were going to pull my chart and call be back with my results. I never got a call back. When I finally got someone on the phone they were rude, and acted as if I was disturbing their sleep. The nurse practitioner came on the phone line to discuss my results with me and was not able to clearly state what the results were. She even told me that I may not be pregnant... who does that without running several test and doing another sonogram? I'm so grateful that my old Dr. at Baylor now accepts my insurance so I will be returning to him. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.

I knew this was not gonna be good the moment I walked through the door. I had brought my 5 yr old daughter and my husband with me, but I noticed a sign on the back room door that said NO CHILDREN BEYOND THIS POINT. I was very dissappointed because my daughter was really excited to see the baby on the sonogram screen. I knew alot of my friends DR's were able to do this. Then I learned that they had to have a "trained technician" do it, and that person only came once every few weeks! Noone on the staff was capable of doing a sonogram! This was for my 16 week exam and the first time I had been to the OB/GYN for this pregnancy! So my husband took our daughter home and I stayed and waited for the exam. And waited. And waited. And hour later I was called back and had a Med student begin asking me my entire life history, which ok I know, New Dr, they need my info. Then comes in Dr. Abbas. He shook my hand and then began to snap orders at the nurse and the med student, asking questions. Then REASKING me the questions I had just spent the last 45 min going over with the med student. I had had some reservations about a prescription with possible side effects on my fetus, as it had been prescribed in an ER, and the label indictated it could cause Birth Defects. He was INCENSED that I hadn't taken it and yelled "IF A DOCTOR PRESCRIBES YOU MEDICINE YOU TAKE IT!" So now I'm p'o'd that he keeps snapping at me... it got worse from there with him snapping at me like that 3 times during the visit. His staff wasn't able to draw my blood. They had to retake my urine sample TWICE (Who KNOWS what happened to the FIRST sample!). It was ridiculous and I cried the whole way home. Please if you have any other choice DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!
