HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! When you move to a different address and have a valid forwarding address they WILL NOT forward your package to your correct mailing address! I called the Dahlonega Post Office (on Thursday) after realizing my package was sent to my old address, and they told me the driver on route would go get my package from my old address and deliver it to me by the next day (Friday). After checking my mail that next day, AND the day after (Saturday morning) I called the Dahlonega post office back and they had no idea what I was talking about. They are extremely unorganized and have horrible customer service through their rude cashiers! I have never been spoken to the way they spoke to me! The saddest part is that when I called my carrier who DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE MISTAKE, they happily sent me a new package and it is on it's way. The mistake was through the Dahlonega Post Office and they are the ones that should have taken the blame.

This post office is the worst experience I've ever had with any post office. Call them lazy or rude the bottom line is the service is not consistently good. Finally regarding the managements unprofessional behavior, it is easy to see who the mail carriers and other personnel take their direction from on what is acceptable service.

Dahlonega postal service carrier has a very either lazy or sorry mail lady . Skipped mail , drive fast through subdivision , wrong mail , certified mail lets explain this one while on front porch 1 time or in driveway 1 time I thought they were putting mail in box well wrong it was for certified mail they didn't come down driveway to greet me for signature either time and on slip sorry we missed you as we watched them drive off and look down at us . Wouldn't it have been easier to get a signature than rite the tracking number down on the slip ? Now back to the review lately my mail has been taped shut with scotch tape , I mean really all business's do this now ha no , you do the math it has got to be the carrier Subdivision is near 400 and 60 so hope they figure and correct the issue I rather no star rating but have to put 1 in , will repost review when problem is resolved
