I stopped in for the first time to pick up some cooking Sherry. I exchanged a few pleasant words with the gentlemen working there, "hi, how's it going" etc. When I went to pay for my Sherry, I pulled out my phone (I have Samsung Pay and get rewards when I use it to pay for stuff) and he said he didn't have the technology to use it. I said, "It's ok, Samsung Pay is magnetic and works anywhere you swipe a credit card, even if the business doesn't have mobile pay technology." He said "No, I won't allow it, it won't work." I explained that we can try it and if it doesn't work, we'll use my physical card. Then he flipped out on me saying the same thing and he wouldn't allow it, that it's his business, yada yada. So, understanding that some people just aren't comfortable with technology, I took out my wallet and dropped my credit card on the counter. Unfortunately, my card went off his side of the counter and onto the floor. He picked it up, yelled at me for being rude (sorry, but I was MUCH less rude than he was) and I tried explaining that my intent was not to throw it on the floor. He then kicked me out without my Sherry threatening to call the cops. So, I stepped outside to my car to call my wife and explain that I wasn't bringing home her cooking Sherry because of what happened. Then a customer came out of the store trying to get me to leave while holding up a card-badge for Harris County. Lol, not sure what his position is, but not a deputy. He said the guy was nervous and that I needed to leave. I told him there was no need for him to be nervous, I wasn't going to do anything. I just wasn't going to drive until I calmed down a bit. Long story short, they both hung out inside the store on the phones until I left. I will NEVER do business with this place. Not even if it was the last liquor store in Texas. It's pretty sad when even a guy like me is kicked out and is threatened to have the cops called on him for trying to pay for something. Wow.

Rudest individual I ever met at ANY place of business. I have never been greeted when I walk in OR check out. Only come here for convenience. So on my last visit I pull up in front of the place and there's a small mountain of bread crumbs in the parking space which has attracted like 50 black birds. I go ahead and park thinking it won't be that bad since I'm not going to be there that long. Well I go to check out and there are a bunch of birds ON my car eating the crumbs. So while checking out I rush outside a couple of times to get them off my car. I tell the older man at the register that's ringing me up "Who would put bread crumbs close to the front of the liquor store like that?" So he looks at me like I just spit in his face and said in a cocky voice, "I did!" I said, "The birds get all over the customer's cars." Now get this, he says, again in a cocky rude tone, "You're not parked there all day!" To which I said, "Don't worry I won't be back." To which he had the nerve to reply, "Don't come back!" UNBELIEVABLE. I almost never write reviews but I couldn't pass this one up. One day he's going to smart off to the wrong guy, someone not as nice as I am. No option for 0 stars hence the one. PLEASE AVOID THIS SAD BUSINESS. Btw, the prices are NOT below average.
