Leslie is always ready to teach and encourage quilters and sewers looking for knowledge and inspiration. MeMaw's sells first quality 100 cotton quilt shop fabric that is ideal for that next quilt or a unique outfit for someone special. The shop also stocks needles, both hand and machine, thread, pins, scissors, rotary cutters, rulers and mats, Kwik Sew patterns, books, zippers, buttons, and more. Leslie will also order additional merchandise if requested by a customer.The shop now has Classes:Have you ever admired the many colors of a patch work quilt and asked, How did they do that? MeMaws Sewing Room owner, Leslie Plaisance will show you how. Whether a beginning quilter or a seasoned quilter, youll learn more about quilting in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Just give Leslie a call and make an appointment for an individual teaching session. Class fees are usually $25 per session If you have a pattern that you need clarified, just drop by the shop and Leslie will be glad to help. Customers often comment on the friendly open atmosphere of the shop.Sewers are welcomed to make arrangements to bring their sewing machine to learn new techniques while showing off their sewing skills as they "sit-n-sew".
