Hydro started operations in 1969 with only five employees. It has expanded to include the Hydro South location in Georgia. Originally formed in 1976, Hydro South started as a new unit distributor for a number of pump companies, such as Warren and Fairbanks Morse. It began to service pumps in 1984 and experienced success in the engineering and repair business. The company can handle a number of complicated mechanical seal repairs and has the capacity to manage large vertical pump repairs. In addition, it also provides new pumps and parts to its customers. Other services include engineered pump repairs and refurbishments, field machining, hydraulic design modification, parts stocking programs, parts replacement, change-outs and installs, in-field pump efficiency, measurement, training, technical support, reverse engineering, systems analysis and testing and project management. Hydro South is located in Alpharetta, Ga.
