When the transmission went out on my '05 GMC Yukon my first call was to the dealership that has worked on my truck from the begining. They told me it would be over $5000. My next call was for a used transmission and the best price was $2300 and a 90 warrenty. I was ready to sell it for parts. Thankfully a friend had me call Ron at Transmission of Alexandria and he completely rebuilt my transmission with a 3 year warrenty for such a great price that I plan to drive it for another 100k miles.

I have a '98 Jaguar XK8, my Dream Car, that wouldn't go into reverse and was slipping badly in drive. I called the dealer and their estimate for repair was over $7000. I was devastated!
