My daughter hired Brown & Son to paint her house. He charged $17,00, she was moving quickly to out of state, because of her job. The mistake was she paid him before seeing that he completed the job. I am her mother, I called her and told her he didn't finish painting the windows. The house is all painted, but the windows are still left the same, a real eye sore! She called him and said he was busy but would take care of it, to call him in a month. She tried to call him but he would never call her back. Then I called, he didn't know who I was so naturally he answered, when he did and I explained to him that I didn't appreciated how he is taking advantage of my daughter. He said it was in her contract. I wanted to know what contract would someone sign that said you would paint the house and not the windows. He said he was a God fearing man and would not rip anyone off to call him and he would meet me on September 29th, he yelled at me the entire time and said he would make me sign a contract. I told him that would be good, all I wanted was him to finish a job he started. I called yesterday, the25th and he hung up on me. Please, please do not hire this company! This is a perfect example of how some companies take advantage of single young women.
