Buying Small at Gulgrens on Black Friday Should have saved $200 NO SAVINGS NO Dryer COST ME $250 MORE!! Went in after stopping by 3 Big Box stores to buy a dryer Felt compelled to Buy Local and Small having done business for decades with Gulgrens I went here to buy. Salesman Gary and Owner Mike G were sitting at desk tell them my choice Mike says Glad for the opportunity! Give me a price about $50 more than Big Boxes I think Hey I will get awesome service from the small guy give up the $50! and delivery by end of next week (Thrus~Fri) Longer than Big Boxes would have had Wed or Thurs BUT I go with the sale. Gary charges my CC and I have a delivery date All Good I think~ NOT ~ Wed rolls around have not heard anything decide to check Garys on the phone ~ OK ~ Call back Thurs leave messages to call me back no Call Back! Call early Fri get Gary can't find my file~ Has to call Rep ~ Wait a few hours No call back So call Gary again Dryer not available needs talk to rep will call me back NO Call Back Fri or Sat OK I need a dryer! Text Mike owner to see if he can get something going Gary calls Rep now gone for a week ask Gary for options says other one on back order and Literally tells me to go back to Big Box see if I can get one there! REALLY! They had them on Black Friday they had inventory at everyone! and imagine that they are all gone a week later! Gary had charged me for a dryer he had no clue if he could even get! Now have to get a refund for the aggravation! Go to Grand Appliance talk with Jack tell him dryer number of what I am looking for comes right back with it's discontinued can never get again! Why didn't Gulgrens know this! Jack right away gives me tons of options choices went on website can see what is in warehouse NO Sorry Now we cant get it! EVER! As of 12/6 Still NO REFUND FROM GULGRENS! Gary charged my credit card right away to buy least Gary could do is issue my refund just as fast since he sold me a dryer he had no clue if he could get it!!

One day service to repair our micro in the thermador triple oven.
I would say for service only go to Gulgren.

I always try to fix my appliances myself so gulgrens is my place because they get that. They will take time to answer and ask questions to make sure a do it yourselfer is heading in the right direction. They are honest people and I appreciate that. Most of our appliances are from gulgrens and we wouldn't have it any other way.

I got a great deal. Fully renovated my kitchen and they helped me with everything.

Once again Gulgren made us happy! We have used them for many years and have never been disappointing with the service. Our tech Jon is so friendly and a real family man, we look forward to having him! Today we brought in our Thermador microwave for repair and we received same day results after we dropped off the unit. The parts and service guy kindly gave us a comprehensive run down of what he fixed. We love how personable the people at Gulgrens are and will keep calling them up for service and purchasing appliances.

We love Gulgren Appliance! We decided to try this place out when we renovated our kitchen 5 years ago and the salesman was awesome. Very helpful and charismatic without over selling! We purchased our refrigerator, dishwasher, double oven, range, and built in microwave!!! The prices were competitive. Delivery was so smooth, the guys worked together well and got things done fast. We recently had to have our oven serviced, turned out to be a quick fix and the tech was also very good. Everyone that works there is genuine. We really feel at home and in good hands!

WE HAVE USED GULGRENS FOR 20 YEARS BUYING ALL OF OUR APPLIANCES HERE HAS BEEN GREAT FOR US GULGRENS IS FAIR AND THE SALESMAN WAS HELPFUL

Don't buy here!! Not the 'Mom 'n Pop' shop I hoped for.



Before I bought a dishwasher here, I was advised to sneak a phone picture of the serial number on the floor model. Apparently, they frequently deliver floor models to folks who ask not to have one that has been on display. Sure enough, the Bosch dishwasher they brought me was the one from the showroom. I asked why it wasn't in a box, and the installer told me he opened the box in the truck. I asked for the box. Now he said he opened the box at the store. He was clearly lying.



I've heard some good reviews about this 'family' business, and how friendly everyone is. But I doubt that after 50+ years, the original owner/owners are still around.



It is obvious to me that the current owner/owners are just trying to make money and don't really care for the consumer. It's a shame that a good reputation can be ruined by new management.



Very disappointing!

I was very satisfied with the way they helped me at Gulgrens, I called to check a service call price for my dryer and I ended up receiving trouble shooting help and stoping in to pick up a small part that I was able to install myself. That kind of treatment almost doesn't exist anymore seeing as how I spent an hour on hold with Sears Kenmore just to be given a 4 hour service window. I would recommend Gulgrens.
