It seems the place have changed owner. They have done well to keep it clean, the selection is pretty good, and it appears the new owner is very nice.

#1: They were selling the same brand nachos as speedway's proprietary brand, and when I asked the local speedway about it they checked their cameras, they found out that the owner of The Hen was ROOTING THROUGH THEIR DUMPSTER AT NIGHT AND TAKING THEIR EXPIRED NACHOS, RUBBING OFF THE EXP DATE WITH ALCOHOL AND RE-SELLING THEM.



#2: I don't like slushies, not that they taste bad, but because I had one bad experience with them at The Hen. I had never tried one before, so I purchased one and started filling my cup with blue raspberry slush... but this weird black stuff kept coming out as well. I asked the owner to come look at it, and when he pulled off the cover THE ENTIRE NOZZLE WAS CAKED WITH THIS THICK BLACK MOLD.



#3:This one is very short and sweet. I bought bottle of Deans Chocolate Milk from them when I was a kid, and when I opened it and took a drink I got a mouthful of chunks. From then on I have always looked inside my milk before drinking.



I’m never going back
