Just had THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE experience at Teluwut in Cresco. Ordered fried pickles - our favorite appetizer - and when they tasted like old fish, we sent them back. The MANAGER then informed us that there was nothing wrong and we'd be discounted nothing and would have to pay the full price (we collectively ate almost 1). We said we were going to cancel our order and leave and were told it was too late to cancel our order and we'd have to pay for everything, even though we ate next to nothing. NEVER, in all the restaurants I've been to, have I EVER dealt with anything CLOSE to this infuriating! Needless to say, they have permanently lost our business.

My husband and I always stop at Teluwat Grille on our way back from visiting with Family in Sumner Iowa. We love the atmosphere and the friendly service. The food is always good and I love that the menu's are your placemat. You can look it over while waiting for your dinner and see what you may order on your next visit. The phamplets on all the tables are interesting too. This gives you inside information on the staff that work there. It just adds a personal touch.
