Established in 1971, the Cranberry Township Police department provides community-oriented law enforcement services to the city residents, as well as maintains order and protects lives and property. It employs several detectives, deconstructionists, community relations officers, and firearms and tactics instructors. The department is comprised of full- and part-time sworn and nonsworn officers. The Cranberry Township Police department also assists other police and fire agencies in law enforcement services. It is located in Cranberry Township, Pa.
