Used his service in two different homes over the last five years. Both times our needs were met 100% on time and on budget.

Second review in response to first posted in the heat of the moment:
This service did good work and the price was reasonable. There was a major disagreement between services to be done, which led to legal battles. We will not use again.

My husband and I met with Mike to discuss a tree to be removed, he answered every question we had, really took time with us.
He walked the property with us to help us decide the what and where and how to do with what trees, and it was FREEZING.
The tree cutters were very knowledgeable and dropped the trees exactly where they said they would land. My husband and I stood and watched in amazement! The name fits the company! They are true tree professionals, and cleaned up after themselves. We have had many trees cut in our neighborhood and none can compare to the guys on this crew. It was by far the easiest project so far ! We will definitely hire again!

I'm not sure who paid these people to give this company good review. I assume the owner because he has no integrity. He acted in an unprofessional manner when we paid him $300 less than what he quoted us, because; 1. He didn't do what was agreed upon, 2. what he did do was sloppy, and 3. we had to replace a section of our neighbors fence and repaint it, and fix our lawn that had large ruts needing loom and reseeding. We sent him pictures of the damage and a description of what he didn't complete from our agreement and he continued to harass us regarding the issue. He is now taking us to court to pay a fine, and because we are good people, we did't understand the lawyer language and now he wants $900 instead of $300 because of late and lawyer fees. I have no idea how this man puts his head on his pillow at night. If anyone is looking to hire him, please take this into consideration. Take a look at BBB. They won't accredit him due to the multitude of complaints against him.

I am upset with Mike's they cut down too many trees! I didn't ask for all those trees to be cut and now back yard looks crappy. This was back in the fall. If you hire Mike's be there to keep an eye on them!!

Mike Baird is absolutely The Best! His employees do a wonderful job Tracey in the office is very professional and Steve knows how to cut a tree!! He has a great crew - they left my yard looking fantastic - after cutting 16 trees!! The crane operator really knows what he's doing too. Fantastic job guys! I am so pleased! I highly recommend Mike and his tree cutting Crew.

Wow! Needed to have large piles of snow moved since all the recent storms have not had time to melt. I called Mike's Tree last night and Mr. Baird himself met me at the house at 7 AM with a large loader! He was polite,professional and did a GREAT JOB moving the snow so we can get in and out of the driveway . Will definitely use again!

These guys are the definition of team work. They took down 6 trees in a few hours. They were on time, very polite and professional, they cleaned up when done and the price was right. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becausethe folks who cut down the trees from mike did a fantastic job, they were courteous and did a great job. i had the trees cut down on a Friday and was told the wood would be picked up by tuesday in addition to having the stumps grinded later that friday a truck came to remove the logs, due to the size of the trees he couldn't fit them all in his truck, so he left and never came back. when he left i noticed his truck leaked oil in my driveway and in front of my house. Even though i wasn't thrilled about this and i wasn't sure if this was normal or not i decided not to call to complain since overall i was happy with the work. monday morning they came and removed the stumps again did good work and were friendly i assumed the truck for the remaining logs couldn't be far behind.. he never came monday or tuesday to get the logs.Wednesday a neighbor of mine asked to take some of the wood which i obliged as the week went on they never came t

Mike came out to my place for an estimate. Even though I didn't decide to have the work done, he was really a nice guy. He was on time to the appointment we made and walked around the whole yard with me. When I am ready to have my trees down, I'll certainly be calling Mike and his guys to do the job.

I had Mike come out and do a tree service for me while I was out of town. I was pleasantly surprised when I returned and saw the trees gone but no other evidence that the guys were ever there! The crew cleaned my yard back to the way I had it. I recommend Mike's tree service to everyone. Definitely a good experience.

As a frequent user of Mike's tree services, I would really recommend him to anyone. He's always been fair and honest with me and my husband. This last time he came out, at the beginning of September, was because a huge limb fell out of my maple tree in the front yard. I got an estimate right away, the guys came out the following day, and it was like the whole thing never happened!

Mike's Professional Tree Service was recommended to me by a friend so I called and scheduled an estimate. Mike came out himself to do the estimate. The price was very fair compared to other offers. The job was done well and I would recommend Mike's Tree Service to anyone. I was worried my yard might be a mess when they finished, but they cleaned it up very nicely, considering the amount of work I had done. Very satisfied.

From the ladies who work in the office, to the agile and might I say amazing guys who climb the trees with the safety straps, Mike's has it all. It truly is rare to have a company live up to its name. Mike's company is extremely professional and the service is unsurpassed. Since becoming disabled, I'm kind of an easy mark. Mike did not take advantage of this unlike some of the competition, and for that, I'm truly grateful.

Mike was nothing but professional. He was going to be early for the estimate I scheduled (how many contractors are actually early?) and gave me a call. For the number of trees that had to be removed, he was the best price and even used a crane. The workers were done before I knew it, cleaned the yard, and even blew off the debris on the roof. I've recommended him to all of my family and friends.
