We have hired JB Good Inc. twice in the past 3 years. We had them take down our very old rotting walnut tree that was next to our pump house and very close to our home. John took the tree down with the greatest of care. The next time we hired him and his crew they took down our rotting apple tree, plum tree, and a pear tree. Again great care was taken in the removal of these trees. We also had John grind the stumps down on all these trees. He grinds them down low enough so that you can't even tell there had been a tree there. John and his crew are very friendly and easy to work with. John gave us good advice and suggestions on what trees we could plant in place of the ones that we took down. John is an amazing resource of knowledge. I Highly Recommend this company . Beyond happy with the work this company did for us.

When my husband and I bought our house, the previous owner had left 5 stumps in various stages of decay. For safety reasons, we contacted John to grind them. He came and gave us a free estimate and talked to us briefly about he would go about it. He did a great job grinding all of the stumps below grade and was very courteous. He and his crew are a pleasure to work with! He also gave us some good pointers on the trees that were still standing on the property, pruning suggestions and such. Thank you so much!

With respect to the bad review shown here, our company does not confirm property lines before doing work because we are told by the people who hire us that they own the tree. This was a property line dispute between the two home owners, and we hope that they have worked it out. We've been operating a tree service since 1982, and have received hundreds of wonderful letters of praise for our work. John B Good, Inc. cut down a tree in a Riparian Habitat/Wetland protection area in Crescent Valley...and it was not even on his client's property...it was on mine. When I informed him this was a Riparian Habitat/Wetland designated by Benton County as such, he essentially told me "talk to the landowner". When I saw the tree he cut down was on MY PROPERTY and that it was clearly on my property, he gave me the same response and essentially told me to pound sand. I would suggest a businessman who advertises himself as a "certified arborist", blah, blah, blah, would be aware of restrictions on cutting in wetlands and riparian habitats. I would suggest someone who supposedly is a " ccb licensed contractor" as well, would be aware of property line markers and would have performed some sort of due diligence to determine the tree he was about to cut down was on his client's property. I would strongly suggest that if you are considering doing business with this company, you reconsider. Do you really want to be associated with someone whose business practices and attitude are as I described?
