I've been taking my pets for grooming for about 8 years. I love their work and the way they treat their clients.

I just took my shih tzu to the dog house for the first and LAST time!!!!!! I feel so sorry that my poor little girl has to walk around with the butcher job that she received until her hair grows out long enough to get it re-done elsewhere. I asked for a "teddy bear" cut and they told me they were very familiar with the cut and several groomers that could do it..........guess what... they have NO CLUE what a teddy bear cut is!!!!!!!! I am ABSOLUTELY SICK at what I saw when they brought her out to me. She has even been acting a bit strangely since I picked her up. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 3 bichon frise's and 2 Yorkshire Terrier's. I have taken my dogs here for about 6 years and only had 1 issue last year so I decided to still use them because they had a new groomer at the time and she was the one who messed their haircuts up and they let her go do I decided to continue using the dog house. Yesterday I took 2 of my bichon frise dogs to the dog house to get groomed. My dogs had very long hair but when I went to pick my babies up they were both shaved down to nothing and I couldn't even recognize them. At first I thought I had the wrong dogs but when I called their names they reacted the way they normally do so I knew these dogs were mine. The dog house butchered my dogs from head to toe, even shaved off their tails. If you want a good groomer u suggest you go somewhere else. The people at the dog house know how my dogs get their hair cut, they have done them for quite a few years. I even heard one of my other friends say they cut off her dogs ear then super glued it back together. Please look around before you make the same mistake I have. My family took our chocolate lab, Dos (about 8 years old), to the Dog House a few months ago. They called my son-in-law to pick him up because he was bleeding in his mouth and they couldn't really get it to stop. A couple days later I noticed he had a nick on his head right in the area where they stop trimming his hair and he couldn't chew very well for several days. With this evidence, I came to the conclusion that Dos was probably nicked and when he snapped because of that, the groomer smacked him in the face, quite hard. Feel free to draw your own conclusion from what I have shared with you.

It was my puppys first time going to get groomed I was kind of scared that he wasn't going to coroporate with the people but when it was time to pick him up and pay they brought buddy my pomeranian just like a teddy bear I never thought he could be so cute they did such a great job. I would recommend to go to The Dog House Pet Supplies And Grooming.
