I was looking for a jeweler to reset my diamond and had a bad experience with 2 other jewelers in Corpus. After purchasing a new setting from another store, I decided that the setting was too high and uncomfortable and I didn't want it anymore (and also decided I didn't want to deal with that particular jeweler anymore). So I decided to have my diamond set in a bezel and soldered in the middle of my channel-set wedding band. I knew I didn't want the other jeweler to do it because of how they treated me, so I remembered a radio ad for Susann's! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two sweet girls, Sonia and Sarah. I told them what I wanted done and they told the jeweler, Dave, what I wanted and he came out and talked to me. He was very nice and I knew automatically that he knew what he was doing. They gave me an itemized quote right there. I hadn't been able to get my diamond back from the other jeweler yet (very long story) but I got it the very next day and brought it and my wedding band to Susann's right before they closed. That was on a Friday and there was a holiday weekend coming up so they told me the jeweler wouldn't be able to order the bezel setting until Tuesday and once it was ordered it would probably take 7 days before it was all done. They called me that Friday, so it only took a few days for him to get it done! I couldn't be happier with how my ring came out, the price was very fair but I especially appreciate how they treated me. They didn't pressure me into buying something I didn't want, there was no attitude from anyone and they were all very genuine and down-to-earth. I definitely recommend this store to everyone, whether you need custom work done or whether you want a brand new piece of jewelry. BTW, their inventory is beyond amazing! Thank you to Dave for your craftsmanship, attention to detail and just for understanding what I wanted and making it happen. And thank you to Sonia, Sarah and the rest of the staff for being so great, for caring about your customers and not being like the rest of the jewelry salespeople I have encountered at other stores.
