Very sad and disappointing Patricia G. We really enjoyed your family and your daughter while she trained in our facility. She is very talented. The violent reprimand that you mentioned was not that at all. Coaches do not get their instruction from parents, period! Yes, this was an issue with our team coach which is no longer with us. Our team has done fantastic this season as I am sure your daughter did as well. The facility you are at currently is a great gym with a great owner/ coach. As for your return, it is stated very clearly within our rules and policies that there are no refunds. If you have an issue with this policy then you should take a close look at the current policy you are obligated too. It is only fair for gyms to operate in this fashion as the cost of running a competitive team is tremendous. After reading your post, it is obvious who the bully and the liar really is. It is a shame things worked out the way they did and although you jump from gym to gym I'm sure you'll find one that your daughter can call home. Good luck and God bless.

The coaches were very patient and engaged with the kids. They know how to make excersising fun for the kids. 5 stars for sure!

I would recommend South coast Gymnastics to anyone interested in a structured gymnastics class setting. I like the way they track my daughters progress, it keeps her focused on what she needs to work on. I would like to see the younger coaches be more enthuastic but overall they keep it fun for the kids. My daughter loves it!!.



one more thing...the staff (coaches and office)need uniforms or someway to indentify them. I didn't know who the paents were or who the staff were until someone was actually at the front desk. FYI

I was just made aware of a review about this gym posted by KellyBoo5. We had moved here from houston last year leaving one of the best gyms in the nation. My daughter has been involved with tumbling for over three years now and is at a intermediate level. We started at the allstar "tumbling" gym on Holly and were sadly disappointed. We bounced around until my wife's Dr recommended Southern Coast. Their is no better tumbling coach in Corpus. Another father "usa gymnastics hall of fame" has his child enrolled here also. That speaks volumes. He bounced around as well. I would not go anywhere else!! Nice job Southern Coast!!

We have been in every gym in this town and Southern coast has really impressed our family and the many friends that have come and joined with us. I am not sure who KellyBOO5 dealt with or if she even addressed any issue's to the staff because the owner's and their staff have been fantastic and very patient with us and all of the kids. None of the other gyms in town have a reward based system like theirs. It has been great! Both of our kids can not wait to ring the bell on their next evaluation! The family's are very open and opinionnated usually complaining about the parents that will not discpline their own kids. Maybe Kellyboo5 is one of those parents. Southern Coast keep up the good work!!!! We love you guys!!

This GYM is a joke ! It is a gym for girls to go play around, not for serious training . They are very disorganized with time and very rude too. I took my two kids out of there and they are doing much better in another facility.

NO NO NO .......I would give a zero star

We were disappointed with South Coast Gymnastics because they moved my son's class to a new time and failed to notify us in advance. Seeing how there were only a few students in his class, it would have been easy and courteous to call me regarding the change before we showed up at the wrong time. As I was standing there with my 3 year old (who was very excited about his gymnastics class but now not able to do it b/c the class time had changed), the owners made little effort to accommodate us after their mistake, and quite frankly, were rude. We were already a little frustrated with the 2 teenage girl "coaches" who we're more interested in chatting than getting up and showing these preschoolers how to do the activities; we won't be going back to South Coast.
