Dr. Boriack is an awesome teacher and healthcare provider. I have climbed the educational ladder in nursing healthcare and have been exposed to many clinical site rotations, healthcare educators, ancillary staff, and preceptors. In all sincerity, and with all of my heart, I can truly say Dr. Boriack's holistic treatment of the whole person is expertly provide and is the gold standard to which many healthcare professionals strive to achieve; yet, fall short in accomplishing. Dr. Boriack's peaceful calmness carries over to his awesome staff and patients. Dr. Boriack truly has a gift and is a blessing to all who have an encounter with him.

Dr. Boriack has taken care my family for over 10 years. I endured through three other doctors until I found him. My care had been fragmented and unsuccessful. I was required to take prescriptions that hurt me and my pain was not alleviated. After referral to Dr. Boriack, he brought kindness, patience and medical professionalism enhanced by his knowledge of the human condition. His wisdom has brought health and vitality to my family. When he learned my husband was hospitalized by someone else for an unrelated issue, he visited, to assure us and himself, that we were okay and getting proper care. He always offers to answer questions and reminds me of a shepherd caring for his sheep.

This physician brought me out of pain and a perpetual medical crises that I had languished in for over 12 years. He listens. He asks questions, and then he listens again. Sometimes he will call a day after your visit to suggest a treatment or alternative medication. He truly cares for his patients.

Now that Corona virus has arrived in Corpus Christi, TX, My husband took his first "Telephonic Visit" with Dr. Boriack today. It was thorough and efficient. We were able to remain in our home, but still get our labs reviewed, health appraised, complaints aired and guidance on medication. We are in our late seventies and appreciate the concern for our safety and well being. He has been a real blessing to our lives.

My appointment with Dr. Boriack was for when I had bronchitis. He was very thorough with his examination. His staff was really nice as was he!

Very unprofessional. I called his office at 9:52am on Tuesday which is his normal hours and got a recording to call back during normal business hours.????

Dr. Boriack is patient and slow, experienced and compassionate. He knows his stuff, and his recommendations for specialists have been spot on. The waiting times for a visit can be frustrating, but I know when I see him, I'm going to be well taken care of. I especially like his emphasis on wholeness and healing, which includes spirituality. Dr. Boriack remembers me when I come in!

If you're looking for a doctor who works with you as a team, who takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns, and who truly cares about your welfare, body and soul, then Doctor Boriack is your man.



With years and years of experience combined with his willingness to learn and be receptive to new and modern treatments -- he works with his patients to develop a total health plan.



Okay, so he's not young and his hearing isn't all that it used to be and his body, like all of us, has taken its licks over the years. I can tell you that inside is a mind sharp and youthful.



He has not only been a wonderful doctor who has helped me choose the right supplement program but who has also led my wife and I to specialists who are leaders in their field of expertise.



Doctor Boriack takes a holistic approach to your health. If you want a doctor who will help guide you to taking charge of your health, who will treat you like a special person, and who cares for his patients deeply, then Doctor Boriack is your man.



On the other hand, if you are a stress monster and don't have the patience to wait, often times up to an hour, to see him, then you can do one of two things: (1) make sure you get the first appointment of the day or (2) go to a different doctor.



There are lots of doctors out there who are willing to herd you through quickly, if quick is what you want. But don't expect that from Doctor Boriack. Discussing ailments and developing correct treatment plans takes time. So while you're sitting in the waiting room, read a book or magazine or just take the time to actually relax. Or perhaps strike up a conversation with the other patients waiting to be seen. Either way, Doctor Boriack is worth waiting for.



I've been treated by hundreds of doctors during my military career and during my life as a civilian. None have been as caring, effective and efficient as Doctor Boriack.



Doctor Boriack is in his eighties. My only regret about that is knowing that some day he'll have to retire and I'll have the impossible task of finding a doctor as competent as him.



He's been my doctor for about eight years and my wife's doctor even longer. He appreciates that we are both smart enough to research and guide our wellness. He provides his input and years of experience to provide us with multiple perspectives.



Choosing a doctor is no easy task. And it takes several appointment to develop a relationship with a new doctor. He's not a magician, he's a doctor. He'll expect you to be his co-pilot as you work together optimizing your health.



He has also been a mentor. Although I'm 63 years young, it's nice to have someone a few years senior who can make sure I steer straight and true. I've come to count on his advice and he's never failed me.

This doctor is a bit slower than most, but he is caring, warm and tries his best to find solutions that do not always include medicines, that have serious side effects. If you have time and are patient. This is the doctor for you!

I agree with you post. My husband was out of his diabetic meds for a while and ended up having to go the ER. They got his blood sugar under controll and asked him to follow up with a Dr. I looked on the internet and found the listing for Family Doctors. Dr. Boriack was the first one I called cause he needed to see someone quick. I got an appointment for him the next day. You are right about one thing... he treats you like a human being. We are new to the area and don't know many Dr's here, but one thing for sure if anyone asks me I would definately refer the to him. He also prayed with us and showed deep concern for my husbands problems. The very best experience I ever had at a Dr's office. There are many Dr's that should learn compassion from this man. He is truely God sent! God Bless him.

This was the first experience I have ever had like this. I went to this Doctor as he was my PCP. I was blown away at the care, concern and professionalism that he and his staff provided. This Doctor literally touched me. Not physically, emotionally. He talked with me and was genuine with listening, and questions and comments. He knew I needed more than a work over and a prescription. He asked if he could pray with me and he gave me a gentle hug. They even followed up with a letter that was personalized to me within a day or two of my visit. I have never had care like this before, and I commend him for his wonderful skills as a human being!
