I've seen a number of dentists in town, Dr. Lowrance is the best of everybody else. He is patient and listens to my problems and questions. After having had terrible experience with other DDS, I came to see Dr. Lowrance for various problems. Each time I've had a very satisfying experience. He and his employees are very knowledgeable.

Don has been my dentist and friend for over 25 years. He is highly competent technically, but just as important, he is deeply concerned about the well-being and comfort of his patients. On several occassions he has come to the office on his days off to take care of emergency situations for me and my family. Don is always up to date on the newest technology and treatments available. Because of his amazing skill, I have crowns and beautiful veneers that have saved my own teeth. I must add a comment about his staff all of whom are most friendly and accommodating. This is a dental practice where the patient can feel at ease and leave all anxiety at the door. I feel blessed to have found this gentle man who will take time to be a friend in addition to being an amazing dentist.

I have been to 5 different dentists in the 30+ years I've lived in Corpus Christi. Dr. Don is by far the best and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Extremely competent and very personalble. Staff is friendly and professional. Five Stars.

I have been a patient of Dr. Don Lowrance since 1987. I sought him out because of his knowledge in

treating patients who have experienced Environmental Illness and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity caused

by chemical injury. Patients with this condition require special caution in choice of anesthetics and dental

materials used. He has treated me successfully these many years and I have since recovered from the condition.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lowrance as possibly the only dentist in the Corpus Christi area that has in-depth understanding of how to treat chemically-sensitive patients. His nutritional expertise is an added benefit for these

patients in helping them recover their health. I couldn’t recommend him more highly in every respect.

My husband, Rob Apperson, has written a review of Dr. Lowrance that says it all....almost. We have been going to Dr. Lowrance closer to 20 years, not 15. When I first went to the Lowrances (Karen is his partner!), I had been so sick and had had every possible test run in both Houston and Corpus to see what my stomach problem was. I couldn't gain weight due to this problem. I had a partial when I first saw Dr. Lowrance and he did an X-Ray showing that it didn't meet my top teeth. When we decided to get another one made, the torrids in my mouth were a real problem, but Dr. Lowranced was able to still make a mold of my mouth that was perfect. Not only that, the partial fit totally around the torids. My stomach problems immediately went away and I gained weight (not too much, but wasn't skin and bones anymore!)



My granddaughter went to Dr. Lowrance around five years ago and he diagnosed her as having extensive problems. My daughter chose not to believe it, and because of this, my granddaughter had to have extensive work done later that could have been totally prevented had my daughter heeded his advice.



Several years ago, I was told I had advanced gum disease. Yes, I went to another dentist that was close by. I felt that this diagnosis was incorrect so I went back to Dr. Lowrance, and he confirmed that I did not have this disease! He hits the nail on the head everytime.



I will go to no other dentist. Should we move a 1000 miles away, i would have to fly in. But it isn't just Dr. Lowrance that is amazing, It is his perfect staff especially Dee Charlton who has been with him at least a couple of decades now.



My only concern I have with Dr. Lowrance is "what if I outlive him? Who will take care of my teeth then?"

Our family has used Dr Lowrance for over 15 years. He is by far the best dentist we have ever had the pleasure to use. We live 75 miles from his office and drive all the way into Corpus to use him exclusively. We have used him for routine cleanings and exams, and also for more extensive work. He diagnosed my wife's stomach problems as coming from a poorly fitting partial denture. He had a perfect partial made that completely solved her problem, and she has now had it for 15 years with no further problems and no failure of the partial. He has been extremely detailed in his evaluation of our problems and offered solutions that demonstrated his mastery of his field. The most recent example of this is his fitting me with a mouthpiece to stop my snoring at night. His discussion of the causes, cures, and health hazards of snoring shows the depth to which he delves into his profession for his patients. Dr Lowrance's skill and professionalism is unrivaled, his Christian ethic instills confidence, and his demeanor and personality while you are in the chair relaxes you. I cannot give him a higher recommendation, and I thank him for his years of the highest quality service to our family.
