Provided by YPmobileThey said that all you need is a bad experience to never want to came back and that is what happened to us today. This hospital need urgent re-training on respect for family of the patient. We went today for a outpatient surgery and what a nightmare. No respect for the family member. They talk to you like you are not a part of the process and treat like they are paying for you to be there.

Provided by YPmobileOur experience has been top notch. As of day 3 things have gone quite smooth, efficient and professional. I do, however have some valid criticisms.
The ICU room has not been cleaned in 3 days. Debris was on the floor for 2 days.
The bathrooms should be cleaned much better. Germ festival with multi- use family members spreading every known germ.
The spray foam by the elevators hasn't been refilled - remember this is day 3!
And finally, this is a hospital. More importantly a HEART hospital. The only vending machine has ONE water dispenser the rest are sugary nightmares!!! At a hospital. As of day 3 water has been empty for all 3 days. Will not accept bills. And the cafeteria had 2 regular sizes of water but is closed after 2pm.
The gift shop has water, it was closed also. I had to leave the hospital and drive to the snappy gas station for water. Why? Why? Diabetes, coronary disease and the hospital has pop!!! Ridiculous.

Provided by YP.comI have had 2 separate bad experiences. When I went in for gallbladder removal I had to have 2 enemas, the second bag was WAY TOO HOT! I felt like my insides were on fire and I had blisters on my bum so I am sure I had blisters inside! The second time I went there for a block in my lower back. The nurse couldn't get my IV in and said it was in on the third try. I have always had an IV bag but she did not put one on this time. My hand was throbbing. I laid there for a couple hours because they were running behind. When I went in the surgery room, my hands were laying on both sides on my head and I was looking at the IV. The doc told her to go ahead and give me the medicine but the IV had a blood clot and she could not get the medicine through! The doc started putting the needle in and I started screaming stop, stop, stop! I was wiggling all around and screaming and it seemed like forever. Now I have excruciating pain in the area that is shooting down my left leg.
