CHRISTUS Spohn Rehabilitation Services provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for those who have been injured or have been ill. At CHRISTUS Spohn, we recognize that no two persons and no two conditions are alike. That is why each person we treat participates in a physical rehabilitation program customized to him or her. Each program is based not just on the patient's medical and rehabilitative needs, but also on his or her social, emotional, and lifestyle needs.

We know that rehab is a difficult journey, so our approach uses a team of doctors, rehab nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, case managers, speech-language pathologists, dieticians, clinical psychologists, social workers and chaplains.

Together, our team works with the patient and the patient's family to set goals and work to get the patient home.

We also know how important family is to a patient's successful rehab. Family members, and others who will help the patient, are encouraged to attend therapy sessions and to learn about the patient's treatment goals. Education for both patient and family is key to helping the patient become more independent.
