Horrible!!! They try to overcharge AND the "manager" Amy was extremely rude and confrontational!!! They tried to overcharge for a dog bath because there computer screen kept showing that I hadn't paid...I had to go thru 3 people before the one who had originally took my payment confirmed I had paid. Then when I had his annual shots done there, they forgot his dog tags so when I encountered Amy over this she kept telling me that I did get them...over and over again...because "it shows" I did. She acted annoyed, kept making faces at me like I was the idiot, and kept arguing with me saying yes I do I them!!! I finally asked to speak to her manager....several times...and her only response was "I'm the manager" like a parrot as she had a smug look on her face!!! I later looked online and actually found the manager is Ray and she was only a manager in training!!! I had specifically asked for her boss and she wouldn't tell me!!! I called to speak to him several times and he never called back. I even emailed him twice before he even responded and he basically defended her all her yrs of "customer service skills" but did agree that she should have given me the tags. Also the heart worm treatment this vet had my dog on was unnecessary according to 2 other vets and that he should wait to get retested before going thru with the "aggressive" plan. One vet said in "90% of cases like his" that they test negative with the meds he had already taken but this original vet was gun ho about getting him painful shots that he might not even need because he's still too young. They obviously care more about making money than the actual well being of animals and there "managers" have the worst customer service.

Website is totally not accurate. I went to the website, printed the boarding agreement, took it to my Vet and made sure we were all up to date on shots. I was going to board my Yorkie for one day. I called the office days before the day we wanted to board. I was NOT told about a Flu vaccine! On the morning of boarding, which was supposed to be $18 for a single day, I was told that my dog would HAVE to have a flu vaccine to stay. I inquired as to the price of this vaccine and I was told it was an additional $48.00. A single day board was now up to $66.00. I told them to shove it....and took the dog with us for the day. He was fine. And the Vet was not richer on my checkbook. I have checked and the cost of the vaccine is about $22.00 and up to a max cost of $30. A flu shot for a HUMAN BEING is not anywhere near the $48.00 price tag of this business. This Vet may well be a wonderful Vet, but, in our opinion she is not very good at business practices!! Future trips to Padre....will NOT include a stop at this business!!!! Someone needs to find a new business/promotion manager!!!
