This is a great clinic. Those who have complained must realize that this is a very high volume, walk-in, underpaid staff that take cuts in pay to help the people who cannot afford the high cost of other vets. Their cost is minimal and their time is stressed. So to go hunt files in another location will not be on their priority list with sick animals coming in droves. It is a shame some think they need attention above the sick animals but they should find a more expensive, polished vet clinic. For me, they are a Godsend to my animals, Where other vets clinics high cost let my animals suffer knowing I did not have a lot of money in the hundreds where this clinic is not robbing us blind. So the little inconveniences are justifiable. Thank God for this clinic. None compare to the cost, efficiency, and open 7 days a week, no appointment needed just come in. And because these vets work under these conditions let's me know they truly care for my animal.

We tried staying with this clinic for years despite the fact that it always stinks, they are usually understaffed to the point where they can't answer the phones properly, and that we have had some bad experiences such my cat having to get injected twice in one sitting because the person messed up the first time. But what finally did it was their refusal to take back an unopened box of heart worm pills that we didn't need. Maybe it was only 30-40 dollars, but their manner just doesn't sit well. I told them they were going to lose a client over it and they were just fine with it. I think we can find a friendlier place.

I'M GIVING THEM ONE STAR BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE CHOICE TO GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS, MY SENIOR CHIHUAHUA GOT LOST IN HOUSTON, SOMEONE FOUND HIM CALLED THE VET, AND THE "RECEPTIONIST" TELLS THEM THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY DOG WITH THEM, (THEY CALL THE CLINIC FROM THE NUMBER ON MY DOG'S TAG, SOME MORE PEOPLE CALLED AND THE ANSWER THEY GOT WAS THAT THE RECORDS WERE ACROSS THE STREET SHE WOULDN'T GO CHECK FOR THE DOG'S FAMILY'S PH, NUMBER.

WE HAD TO STAY IN HOUSTON 3 DAYS TILL WE FOUND HIM THANKS GOD!!!!

they are great when it comes to getting parvo shots, etc for your animal BUT if you board your dog or cat....they DO NOT give the bortello or the vaccine for the flu for your dog, you have to go elsewhere....

I completely recommend this clinic. My sheltie was attacked by an American Bulldog. After going to another clinic that wanted to charge me $700, I took him to Baldwin & Crosstown Clinic. The doctor saw my dog and treated him for the services he needed and gave me medicines to continue his healing at home. The staff were wonderful and my dog healed nicley! I will continue to take my dog to this clinic for all his needs. :)

I took my puppy in and found out he had parvo. They were very quick to reassure me that everything would be all right but my poor puppy has 6 days of misery ahead of him. They were very good about explaining everything to me and following up with me to make sure I knew how to give him his medicine and follow-up. I am hydrating my puppy with syringes of uflavored pedialyte and hope to avoid him having to be placed on an IV. I love they have a walk-in procedure, I had called around initially and no one would give me an appt as he was a "new patient". I called this vet and they told me to come right in. They are right around the corner from me and I'm very pleased with their service and their compassion.

My baby came down with Parvo and the doctor gave her a shot and some medication for home then educated me on how to help her get better..My baby lived..Thanks to the staff..I love them! Cuz they loved my Dog!

I've always taken my pets there 'cause the vet and his staff have always been courteous, compassionate

and never tried to sell services I didn't need or want. And the doc never gave up on my cat with leukemia

when other vets said "just need to put him down." Compassion and personalized service at its best!

I took a sick cat there and was very happy with the service. Also, the vet I saw seemed to have common sense along with his education. He did not try to get me to spend extra money on tests, etc. He just treated the cat without requiring all kinds of tests to make extra money. I was pleased with the operation of the clinic.
