Provided by YP.comThank you, Joseph and Gina for making the purchase of our engagement ring very special. I visited many jewelers in the area and Joseph was the only jeweler who took the time to educate me on the diamond industry. My fiancé and I were very impressed with the friendly atmosphere and their professionalism and courtesy. We will definitely return for our next jewelry purchases.

Provided by YP.comI would definitely recommend Afram's as one of the best jewelry stores that I have been into in Corpus. I shopped around to find my girlfriend a wedding ring, and was just in the looking process. I went to the mail, which I felt was way to pushy (girl seemed only interested in her commission and not what I wanted). I also went to a few other stores. My next option was to order something online, which I was a little weary of doing. One of my parent's friends, highly recommended me to go the Afram's. Not only did Mr. Afram help me find what I was looking for, he was way more informative then any other jewelry store I went to. He also promised me he would bet anybody's prices on diamonds, even the internet stores. Not knowing I already shopped around, he did what he said he would do. I got a great deal on my diamond ring, and felt that he really tried to get the best ring for what I had to spend.

Provided by YP.comI went to this store to see about resetting my round diamond and first of all, they keep their door locked during business hours and you have to basically ring a doorbell for them to let you in. Normally I don't find that to be a problem, because I understand taking precautions, especially for a jewelry store since they have a lot of expensive merchandise. But the real problem was I had to ring the bell a few times and had to wait a few minutes just for somebody to come out on the sales floor. Nobody was even visible at all, and it was wayyyy past lunchtime, so I don't think they were eating lunch in the back. When I finally got buzzed in by a woman, I had to greet her and asked her how she was and she didn't really even say anything or acknowledge me with words, only with a rude nod, which automatically made me feel awkward and on my guard (since I am an out-going person). I asked to speak to a jeweler and told him that I wanted to possibly get a diamond halo made onto my solitaire from some diamonds I had in my channel-set band. He told me right off that for custom work, they automatically charge $1,000 for a CAD/CAM BEFORE they even tell you the total price of the custom work. He said it would be better to order a whole new setting, which I understand, but I know diamond halo heads can be ordered with diamonds already set in them and they can be soldered onto solitaire settings and it should be less expensive than a whole new setting. I left after that because of the shortness and the fact that he was not very helpful or interested at all in what I wanted. But honestly, the lady who buzzed me in already set the tone for the whole experience there because I know good customer service and that wasn't it. They act as if they don't need your business, so until they learn to treat people right, then they won't get as much business. And I sure will not be going back there. Any jewelry salespeople reading this should hopefully take some advice from someone who worked in jewelry sales: you will not get repeat customers, referrals, or good reviews if you are rude, pushy, over-bearing, uninterested or snotty. People don't want to give their money to someone they are not comfortable with so take some courses, do some reading and learn what it is to really have trust, honesty and a genuine business relationship with your customers.

Provided by YP.comMy fiance and I went to Afram's and had a horrible experience. The sales lady there was too pushy. she did not listen to anything we said as far as what we were looking for and she would not leave us alone so we could look. She kept insisting that we have Mr. Afram teach us about diamonds (I had told her repeatedly that i just wanted a White Gold band, NO diamond). She kept saying that "Mr. Afram will teach you" even as we were trying to get out the door. I would not recommend this place. If you want to be able to look without being harassed then don't go here.

Provided by YP.comThe guys at Afram's are awesome. I was looking for a diamond for my fiance and they were so helpful and got the the best price (even better than shopping on the internet). The had a HUGE selection of certified diamonds. I got an awesome 1.25ct round at a better price than anywhere on the web. The set the stone in less than 24hours. I could not be happier. Thank you so much Afram's, you guys are the best.
