I am extremely disappointed that the principal of your high school, knowing in advance that our service veterans would be treated with disrespect, proceeded with their invitations to a school event in which students protested our national anthem.

These veterans served and many others died for our many freedoms, including the freedom to protest and express our thoughts. However, you do not invite these proud men to an event to be disrespected by a principal and teenagers who don't have any knowledge about the sacrifice and honor exhibited by these veterans.

I wish to make a suggestion to the Cornell School District: arrange a field trip for the principal and protesting students to New Orleans to visit the National World War II Museum. Allow the veterans to accompany them on the trip. As they all walk through the halls of that museum to comprehend what American men and women of various races and nationalities faced in Europe, in the Pacific and at home, allow the veterans to tell the students and principal their personal stories. Just maybe the principal and his students will gain an appreciation for what others have done before them and continue to do today, beyond taking a knee, to make this nation better and stronger.

You're disgraceful, how dare you INVITE. WW2 veterans just to disrespect them and throw their honor in their face. You should not be a superintendent, and these girls should be ashamed! These men fought for your little freedoms to "protest", and you can bet these girls don't even know what they're really protesting! Their parents should be ashamed. You as a school made a horrible choice to allow disrespectful behavior. Teaching them to protest when they're upset over something is fine but disrespecting people blatenly is so wrong! I can't even express how saddened I am over this. How dare you even let these men come to your school and have full intention to bash them right to their face, what is wrong with you?! I feel ashamed to be apart of this world with people dishonoring our military right to their faces. You should teach your kids what sacrifices these men made for them and you!

Reprehensible! If my child was attending, I would pull them from the school.A HS that sets in students up for complete failure, allows them to disrespect veterans and elders, and fails to teach them how to act doesn't deserve any public money or attendance. U Failed ur students and the future of America.

I am disgusted that any school or school superintendent would allow students to disrespect our veterans. The parent of these children should be ashamed that children not only disrespected their elders, but disrespected veterans who fought for their right to be bratty, ungrateful, and ignorant. I would home school my children before I ever sent my children to a school that supported such disgraceful behavior. Shame on you, your school district and the children who participated in breaking the hearts of their guests.

When students are told they have the right to crap on the men responsible for that right there is something terribly wrong. This school the superintendent and the cheerleaders should be ashamed and if you ask me any one that does this should be put in jail. What are they doing but committing hate crimes there self. Our world war vets have been though enough and then someone has the balls to pretty much slap them in the face they are the reason u have any rights at all and they watched there friends and family die along side them for it to. HOW DARE YOU! This school should be striped of any rights they have if they are not gonna respect them or the men that fought for it.

This is the High School that allowed their students to kneel in front of many invited veterans during the national anthem. Shame on the superintendent, the students and anyone else involved in such a disgrace to our country, our veterans and to all those that provided security and safety to every american citizen.

This High School needs an overhaul of it's entire administrative staff. Put the ones that are now in those jobs in uniform and send them to the front lines to fight ISIS.

Any school that promotes inviting WWII veterans to a football game then allowing their students to purposefully disgrace the veterans by taking a knee during the anthem should be closed!
