Our truck was hit and run while parked in front of our family owned rental units on Fifth Ave. Officer Roche was so diligent in finding me to inform me of the incident. He was kind, courteous and helpful, taking time to answer all of my questions when I am sure he had more important business to deal with. His report was finished quickly for our insurance co and the dept even waived the report fee for me. About 2 weeks later, the police Captain rode by and saw my truck with the damage( insurance co had not fixed the damage yet) and took time to stop and check if this was a new incident of damage to our vehicle! I have never experienced such care and diligence from a local police dept! We love this town, it's people, our neighbors, And especially the police dept that cares so much to keep its community safe and served with such care And consideration! Many local depts could learn from this dept and it's leadership! I grew up in a nearby town with a police dept that rarely even showed up for a call and certainly isn't even close in comparison to Coraopolis Police Dept. It's so nice to feel safe and secure in your neighborhood! It's priceless in this day and age !
