I have been a huge fan of theisens until recently. The coralville theisens is full of high school kids whose maturity level is less than impressive. Not only was I overcharged last time I was there the products the cashier rang me up for were not even in cart, then others she completely missed. Then, I had 2 cart fulls of plants that I was trying to get out and at least 7 workers were standing around at the registers talking to each other, spectating as I struggled to maneuver my overcharged purchases. It took me dropping my purchase and then struggling some more before anyone offered to help. My friend today called to check for an item, first the worker refused to go check, and then became lippy with her. I don't know who hires these kids but obviously the hiring practices need seriously revised or the management should take a larger supervising role as their attitudes and actions are completely unsatisfactory. I am currently not shopping at theisens as we have a plethora of non corporate stores that are more than happy to help their customers and provide similar prices. If I did desire to go to theisens I would drive to Cedar Rapids before going to the one in coralville.
