This is an amateurish studio, a Lord of the Flies place, not a good studio in which to train children. From adult staff to more advanced children, the unofficial stance is toward conformity instead of diversity. They reward children with higher belts based on the status of their parents, not just their own performances. Children who aren't an exact fit into the group are bullied, harassed, and abused by other boys while the owner of the studio winks and claims the problem is the bullied child's, not that of those who mistreat. She even rewards the leaders of this bullying team with undeserved promotions, accolades, and placement on demo squads rather than busting them down to white belts for disrespecting the tenets of martial arts and disgracing the studio. Keep away from this place - find a more professional outfit that complies with the spirit of martial arts.
