Amazing service, great customer service.

I called about an accessory kit for a CVS that is no longer produced and Dan and his team at thinkvacuums were able to provide me with a kit that works perfectly! Dan was very willing to take the time to make sure that I was ordering the correct items and told me when it would ship and how soon I would have it. He was correct on all of it. I could not have asked for a better company to do business with! I will definitely do business with thinkvacuums again!

The price that they have me was better than any other place that I had found.

Great company to deal with. We are very happy with their customer service. We have ordered from them on many occasions and never a problem. Pablo is very helpful.

I am extremely upset with the customer service I have received through Thinkvacuums. I ordered a headpiece to a vacuum wand and hose we had previously bought through the company. When it came in, the piece did not fit. I spoke to Pablo about returning it. He became very rude when I tried explaining that I didn't know what type of vacuum unit we have because it has no code or name. He said that I must just be an employee who doesn't know anything because normally people have no trouble telling them what type it is. I told him he was being extremely rude and asked if I might be able to speak to a manager. He told me he would hand the phone over if I told him how he was being rude. I refused and he hung up on me!!! When I called back I spoke to Paul, who said he was the manager. I told him what happened and he proceeded to tell me that that is not what Pablo said, and told me the piece should fit correctly. At this point I gave up and decided to call it a loss.

The staff at Thinkvacuums is rude and unwilling to explain the equipment. I AM an employee where I work, and I DO use the vacuum multiple times a week, but I am not familiar with the different types of vacuums out there. I do not appreciate being spoken to in that manner or being hung up on. If I hung up on a client where I work, I would get fired. That is not how you treat customers, especially ones that bought equipment from you. We will NEVER buy anything from Thinkvacuum again. I strongly advise other companies who are thinking about using this company to look elsewhere.

Deserves zero stars.

Gator Vacuum (same location & personnel) provides, without doubt, the worst customer relations & service that I and my girlfriend have ever experienced, anywhere, for anything, and any ONE of the rude, offensive, shocking, asinine, and inappropriate comments made by the owner and sales staff would be reason alone for this review, let alone ALL of what was said by Gator ownership & staff when my girlfriend took our Dyson to Gator for service on Friday, January 17, 2014.

In short, and in order:

(1) Gator staff spent more time trying to sell a new vacuum to us than discussing what was needed to repair ours. When we were told the repair cost would be $230 but that we could receive $20 as a trade-in towards a $400+ vacuum, I felt like I had called a sleazy car dealership or pawn shop, not a family-owned vacuum repair store;

(2) Gator refused to offer any warranty on its own repair work or service, telling us we could turn to the manufacturer of replacement parts if they failed, even if just one week later. What, is Gator that afraid of the quality of its work? If that's the case, we all could do just as trustworthy a job fixing our own vacuum cleaners ourselves, with do-it-yourself guides. Sleazy used car dealerships and pawn shops conduct as-is transactions too, so that comparison really does seem to stick;

(3) The owner told my girlfriend that I was "arrogant", "stupid", and "cheap", that I didn't treat her well, and that he felt bad for her, when she said we'd simply take our broken Dyson home and purchase a Hoover at Target instead.

As much as I feel bad for family businesses that suffer in these hard economic times (my own family owns its own business, so I can sympathize) we will all benefit if & when Gator goes out of business or sells out to a real businessperson, because that will be one less business owner mistreating the public who he supposedly serves. If my only choices were to have Gator repair my vacuum cleaner or have another shop do so, I'd gladly drive twice as far and pay twice as much to "the other guy".

Gator's ownership has proven itself to be no less arrogant, stupid, and cheap as it calls the people it relies on to stay in business.

We will be sure that all of our family, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances know to avoid Gator at all cost.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Gator Vacuum for a problem I was having with one of my vacuums. The owner was quite helpful and went above and beyond in helping with my problem. Great service!!

This is my fourth Drainvac Cen...

This is my fourth Drainvac Central Vacuum system. My first was installed in my home in Ontario, Canada. My second was installed in my home in St. Louis. In both cases, the central vacuum system was very much appreciated by potential buyers. I loved the upholstery and carpet shampooing system! I had loaned my carpet shampoo system to a friend who had a Beam central vacuum system, but her system did not have the suction to take out the water from the carpets as easily and quickly as mine did! Interestingly, when I needed a new hose, I had gone to a competitor Vacuum company, (Vacuflo) who raved about how wonderful our Drainvac was, as he had seen it in operation at a trade show!!!

My third Drainvac, the Twin Turbo, was installed in my home in Bath, NC, in 2010. I absolutely loved it! It had even more power than my previous vacuum systems, which I had previously thought were impossible to improve on.

We had to reinstall our Drainvac Twin Turbo, because it was damaged in its location in our basement, after Hurricane Irene. We did the installation ourselves, and amazingly, its performance is even better than the previous one. We had discovered a few unglued elbows, that the contractor who had installed it for us left unglued. They had caused a loss of suction. Even with that loss of suction, the Twin Turbo was still phenomenal. We found the reinstall so easy, that we wondered why we had paid the contractor to do it for us.

We especially like the floor sweeping outlet, and love being able to use the pet vacuum attachment. Because all the noise is far away from our dogs, they do not mind being vacuumed, and there is much less pet hair everywhere.

Thank you Think Vacuums people!!! I will continue to sing your praises to whoever I speak to about vacuums. I still do not understand why so many people spend so much money buying second rate vaccums, only to replace them in a couple years with another one, that works less efficiently as time goes on. It sure makes sense to just buy one system and enjoy it for a long long time!

Thanks and kudos to the staff of Think Vacuums. They are helpful and efficient, and take a personal interest in getting your order just right, and assisting you in any way you need.

I found Gator vacuums on line from a web site, think vacuums I searched the models on line and ended up buying a Hoover UH50000. It proved to be the right machine for the job. It was a 100th anniversary model and its worked very well since I bought it, a while ago. The hepa filter makes me feel confident that im not just blowing the dust and allergens around my house, but im actually getting rid of them. Happy to recommend Gator Vaccum and think vacuums dot com

I bought a Hoover from Target last week. Within a few days of bringing it home the vacuum broke. I was fed up, took the vacuum back and decided to shop elsewhere. I looked online for local vacuum specialists and found Gator Vacuum. It's real close to the house which adds convenience for us. We went in and picked out a Riccar. American made by the way! Spoke with Phyllis and Robert who were very knowledgeable. We even bought one of the candles they had lit in the store. Smells Great!!!

I have purchased several Beam Central Vacuum parts, including a hose, sock, carpet nozzle, etc. and have been very pleased with my purchases. I ordered a vacuum hose and then decided I wanted to exchange it for a better one and Thinkvacuums.com gave me a break on the shipping charges. I had a problem with a carpet nozzle not fitting the pieces I already had and they couldn't have been nicer any/or more helpful in resolving the problem. It's so rare in today's business world to find a company that cares about it's customers but thinkvacuums.com really values it's customers. My experiences have been nothing but good with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing vacuums or vacuum parts.
