I have been to the store at Santana Row in San Jose, Ca. 3 times, and I cannot say one bad thing about the manager, employees....nothing! Everyone was friendly, respectful, and helpful. I like the way they take pride in keeping the store clean and safe. My first experience there was a bump in the road, and the manager made it right and even gave me a gift card for their mistake. Now that is what I call customer care! I will be shopping here more often as nowadays I can't seem to find friendly people who work with the public. And people are too lax in caring how clean to keep things because of the virus. Congrats to a store well run.

We own a company that is a business-to-business vendor for Container Store, and they are very professional and easy to work with, pay very promptly according to terms. When they have last-minute needs, they are appreciative and reward good response with loyalty. Top-notch business!

This group tried to scam me into buying HGTV magazine with an automatically renewing subscription that I never subscribed to. I entered a contest for the Container Store that was sent recently by email to me. Hearst Publications has hidden somewhere in the official rules in small, light grey font that was 3 pages long which said that you are subscribing unless you check an orange box and there was NO orange box on the contest entry. The contest said No purchase necessary yet this scam was set in motion. No attempts on my part to cancel this subscription that I never consented to begin has worked. I contacted the Container Store's customer service at least 8 times, and all emails to Hearst Publishing or to HGTV magazine have NOT gone through and been returned as "undeliverable. It's a terrible fraudulent practice that I'm sure has impacted many, many people. Shame on you for your unethical practices. I will never subscribe to anything Hearst publishes. According to two separate customer service coordinators, Natalie and Leslie, I MUST accept the first magazine and then personally write cancel on the invoice and send it back. The audacity that I have been so inconvenienced. TERRIBLE and unethical treatment of their customers.
