Dr. Maze is an absolute scam. I recently moved to the area and went for a cleaning and I was 8 months pregnant; she did not look at my previous x-rays from my old doctor, she decided to take "digital camera" photos of my teeth and decide that I need so much work done and claimed that I have so many feelings and cavities when I did not. I went to another senior doctor and he said "I wouldn't drill these teeth if you ask me to!" . She was an absolute liar and wanted to do everything possible when I told them that I have 2 dental insurances and they can bill both. The only thing Dr. Maze is good at is chatting and talking about anything but teeth, she spent 15mins of the appointment asking me why I moved here and talking about kids, and I recall she said that the best thing she's good at is socializing, and that's right, not dentistry.

I became a patient of Dr. Maze after a terrible experience with my previous dentist. I had become disillusioned that I would find a dentist that I could trust to help fix the mess that my previous dentist had created. Thankfully, I gave Dr. Maze a chance and I could not be more pleased. I had a very thorough initial exam and a follow-up exam with a treatment plan to correct the previous work. She coordinated beautifully with specialists that I needed as part of my treatment plan. Her office staff, Dental Assistants, and Hygienists are very professional and friendly and really helped to put me at ease as a new patient. I couldn't say enough about how glad I am that my entire family are now patients of Dr. Maze! I have full faith and trust in her skills and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone searching for a dentist.

I have been a patient for two years. The staff is professional and friendly.Dr. Maze discusses the treatment plan in depth and gives options. She refers to specialists when necessary and works closely with them to provide the best dental solution possible.I have never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision.I have not had any issues nor felt any pain "in the chair". Dr. Maze calls you personally after a procedure to see how you are doing. I had what I perceived to be a dental "emergency". Dr. Maze called me within the hour that evening,discussed what was going on and made room for me in a crowded schedule the following morning.I have referred and will continue to refer friends and colleagues to Dr. Maze.

Dr. Maze and Dr. Aswad both provide excellent care. I was impressed by the knowledge and explanations they both provided me. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist office in my entire life. Her hygienist and staff were all wonderful.



I highly recommend Dr. Maze for your general dentistry and Dr. Aswad for your perio work. AMAZING!!!

HORRIBLE DENTIST: My review is one to CAUTION anyone who is considering dental work. I had extensive dental work performed by Dr. Heather L. Maze at Blue Heron Dentistry in Copley Ohio. I went to her office to have a check up and x-rays and later she informed me that my teeth needed to be crowned. THIS WAS A FLAT OUT LIE, but a professional referred me to her and so I trusted what she told me. She charged over $37,000 to crown the upper teeth (which are not complete). I have been in pain ever since her work. My crown work is horrible, my bite is off, the crowns are canted (tilted), I suffered problems with the gum tissue due to her delay in treatment. I had to have a re-treatment of a root canal because she failed to restore the tooth in a timely manner. She allowed her Ceramic Dental Tech to work on my teeth without her supervision. I WILL HAVE TO HAVE HER WORK REDONE. I had to go to another Dentist to fix some of the MESS she has made out of my teeth. He believes that she crowned over decay on tooth #4 and tooth #5 which causes me constant pain and bleeding. It will cost thousands of dollars to fix. She was not interested in my dental health and well being but rather the $$$$$$$. She lacked the necessary skill and knowledge to perform the maxillary arch. Not only did she lack skill and experience, she never informed me of other treatment plans or choices. THE CROWN WORK WAS UNNECESSARY AND MY TEETH COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED. The story is very long and tedious. I chose to file a dental malpractice case against her in Summit County Court. Please do not go to this dentist. She may tell you you need something done that is not necessary. DO NOT GO TO ANYONE WHO CALLS THEMSELF A COSMETIC DENTIST!

If you need major dental work done, please go to a Prosthedontist. They have more experience and knowledge and a good one will not lie to you.

This office was amazing from the moment I walked through the door. The decor and atmosphere of this office is so calming, The staff was helpful and knowledgable and the exam was the most thorough that I ever have had. The technology and the education issued by the staff was top of the line. The doctor showed me pictures taken by a digital camera along with xrays and devised a plan that worked best for me.

WHAT THE HECK IS A BLUE HERON AND WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH DENTISTRY. I was overcharged and told I need very expensive work done. There were no options available to me. Only crown work, no filling work.
