This is hardly what I would call a church. After my first visit to this church with a friend, I just didn't have a great feeling. I was trying not to be judgemental, but my initial feelings have been confirmed. I'm really surprised that it has many followers, however, in the same sense, not surprised at all because the bible says this it is a narrow road to the gates of heaven.



This church feeds you all the good (or "milk") of the bible, but never any of the bad or "meat" that we as believers should be taught and be aware of. That is why the bible says, many will perish for lack of knowledge. I understand that they are trying to be "relevant" but when I first walked in, I heard cursing and secular music playing. They combine worship music with secular music, and I hardly felt like I was able to praise God that way. The production was way too dramatic, with multiple stages and "worship leaders" performing as if it were their own concert. They themselves didn't even look like they were worshipping God. They feed off of "new believers", who don't understand what a church SHOULD be like. And I come from a life of not knowing the Lord, so I understand that as a new believer, we just don't know yet. So I felt that these people mean well in what they're doing but I also felt like I could get the same experience if I were at a club.



I don't go to church so I can feel like it's just another day in the world. We are not to be of this world and to me, this church is really drawing a fine line. I understand their desire to be the "hip" church, but the definition of "hip" changes everyday. I really think members (or attendees) of this church should be very aware and just pray for God to reveal to them where HE wants them. As believers, we know that everything the Word says is true. It is not out dated, it is not irrelevant, it is the same YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER. One good rule of thumb is to be ALWAYS in the word, so that you are knowledgeable of the material being taught to you. If what the Pastor is saying, doesn't match up to the Bible, or if what the Church represents doesn't match up to the Bible, there is a problem. DON'T ONLY RELY ON THE PASTOR TO EDUCATE YOU! And lets not be fooled by the amount of people that attend. Just because they have a large following doesn't mean they are producing fruit the way that God intended. Many people want to justify it by saying God is in support of this because there are so many followers! NO... just because God allows it, doesn't mean He's in support of it.
