We strive not to be your cookie cutter chain with big corporate offices. We most likely would be compared to the great TV sitcom CHEERS, with a few twists. Most restaurants refer to there customers as guests. We just refer to them as our friends. We know most everyone that walks through the front door by first name at least. Our friends that come to Spankies on a regular basis are a diverse group of Cookeville professionals, college students, college professors, locals, of course mixed in with a few modern day pirates.. Spankies is a place where anyone on any budget can find something they like. Looking for lighter fare? How about a sandwich for less than $8, and yes we still include your side item at that price! In the mood for a filling appetizer? Our tasty Chicken Quesadilla will do the trick nicely. In the mood for something a little heavier? JJ creates a nightly special that rivals anything you will find in Chicago and New Orleans. We fly in the fresh catch, like crab stuffed tilapia or maybe Alaskan Halibut or Gulf Grouper. Our signature dishes like Chicken Spankies or Grouper Dianne, crispy duck or our succulent rack of lamb are house favorites available daily! Is live entertainment your thing? We have it all.
