Honest and Fair Transmission shop. I was having transmission issues on a Dodge Ram 1500. They were honest and correct in everything they told me about the issue. They openly offered that I could try a new filter and trans fluid swap and said that it might work for some time, if replaced. They did say it would most likely be a temporary fix, but it was worth a try. They sold me a filter for cheaper than I could purchase one at the auto parts store, and after my father and I installed the new filter with new fluid the truck ran well for a couple more months. I did end up having to have the transmission rebuilt, but it was time as the truck is 20 years old, The rebuild came with an extended warranty, and the staff was fast and caring about helping me get back on the road. It's been a couple months since the rebuild and the truck is running strong.

Shout out to these guys. Awesome work and great service. Was having trouble with our Jeep Wrangler shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Was told by another mechanic that we needed a new transmission. Went to Cookeville Transmission for another opinion. Was told all we needed was a new solenoid pack for transmission. These guys saved us over $2000.00. Jeep is shifting great now and we can't thank them enough for the money we saved. Brought in on a thursday and picked up a friday. Great work guys!!!!

Dropped vehicle off today for a/c and exhaust repair. When i went too pick truck up the worker at the front desk informed me that they decided to not work on the exhaust because the owner decided not too. The front desk worker stated "you never know what the owner is going too say. Really?! The front desk worker stated "we could have done part of the work." I stated "then why didn't you?" The front desk worker then stated "bring your truck back in a couple of weeks, drop it off and leave it and we will check for leaks." I stated "i have to leave it to get leak checked? How long does it take?" He stated "about 30 minutes. If you owned a garage you would understand."
